A YEAR TO REMEMBER

This past year was unprecedented for the Prep. The months of uncertainty and anxiety created challenges, but they also provided numerous opportunities to offer the Men of St. Augustine Prep with reflective moments to develop resilience, compassion and empathy - all essential qualities of the Hermit Brotherhood.

Our Catholic, Augustinian mission invites us to pursue spiritual growth; to gain wisdom in our academic endeavors; and to unite in building a stronger community where all can learn, thrive and succeed. The school is pleased to share a few examples of how the Prep continues to achieve these goals while remaining rooted in our core values: The year included the entrance of the school’s inaugural 8th grade class. The 60 young men in the Class of 2026 have acclimated very well under the guidance of their “Big Brothers.”

The current academic year began with a total enrollment of 670 young men and a very gifted and giving faculty and professional staff.

Our 22 athletic programs continue to set the scholar-athlete bar in South Jersey. In addition, 91% of our students participate in at least one of our 40+ leadership and co-curricular activities.

The theme for the current academic year is “Coming Home”. Each day we come home to the familiar, to a “second home” where restless hearts find direction and where service to others has become our common language. Your consistent generosity and support of our shared mission ensures that St. Augustine Preparatory School remains one worth coming home to for us all.
