After a long day of playing outside, Hamy the hamster became tired and fell asleep in his little bed. He dreamed that the children were playing with him again. Hamy was happy to play again.

As Hamy looked around, he saw a hungry cat looking at him, so he began running.

As they were running, the neighbor’s dog saw the cat who was chasing the hamster and thought that they were playing tag. So the dog began to chase the cat.

The children saw poor Hamy was frightened, so they began to chase the dog and cat to get to little Hamy.

Suddenly, Hamy heard someone shouting. It was the neighbor calling the dog so that they could go to the park together. Hamy was relieved but he still needed a way to make the cat go home, too.

In the blink of an eye, an idea struck Hamy. Since the cat was hungry, he would go find it some food. The children proudly helped Hamy the hamster feed the cat some canned tuna.

Soon, Hamy woke up with a rumbling tummy. He was also hungry from running so much. After he ate, he was ready to play again.
