Congratulations to Roma High School Mariachi Program student Lorraine Garza for earning the top title, Grand Champion Best in the U. S. Vocalist at the Mariachi Extravaganza in the National High School Vocal Competition in San Antonio, TX!!!! The 30th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza, held in downtown San Antonio, welcomed a record number of student competitors from across the US. The top honor of Grand Congratulations to Mariachi Juvenil De America from Grulla Middle School for earning 2nd Place at the Champion Vocal Winner went Mariachi Extravaganza National Competition! Their hard work, passion, and talent continue to make to Lorraine Garza of Roma High RGCGISD proud. ¡Felicidades on this outstanding achievement! School, who won prizes valued
at more than $15,000 including scholarships, cash and travel opportunities. She also had the opportunity to open for Mariachi Vargas at the grand finale concert on Saturday, December 7. The Gladiator Nation is super proud of you Lorraine!!!!!!!
