Warralily’s display village is filling with stylish new homes and captivating public art and infrastructure.
Display village comes to life THE start of the calendar year brings many new year’s resolutions as people begin planning for the 12 months’ ahead and, most importantly, start setting goals, including building their dream home. Anyone who takes a drive along Barwon Heads Rd will be spoilt for choice when it comes to builders and home ideas, with Geelong’s biggest display village located at Warralily. Warralily general manager of development Mark Whinfield says the display village is now the largest in the region, housing the latest and most-innovative designs from Victoria’s leading builders. “It’s your one-stop-shop for building ideas and inspiration,” Mr Whinfield says. “Thirty homes are open and further homes will open in coming weeks, so it’s sure to get you excited about the idea of what your new home will look like. “There really is nothing like walking through a display home and picking out the aspects you will replicate in your own home. It gives the consumer the ultimate power and ensures they get exactly what they dream.” The village will have on completion more than 40 display homes from local and metropolitan builders including Boutique, Homebuyers Centre, Carlisle, Cavalier, Dennis Family, Hamlan Homes, Geelong Homes, Hotondo, JG King, Long Island, Metricon, Palladium, Porter Davis, Sherridon, Simonds, Eight Homes, Watersun, Welcon, ARB, Burbank, Urban Edge and Davis Sanders. The display village sits within the initial stages of Warralily where the first landscaping, public art installations, pathways, playground and park areas are now complete. Warralily’s sales and marketing manager Sally Steinkrug says the Warralily landscape has significantly transformed over the last few months with an exciting sense of a new and growing community. “We’ve now released over 329 titles and have more than 75 families calling Warralily home,” she said. “It’s quickly moving from a construction site to one of the region’s most-sought-after communities. We have another 35 homes under construction due to be completed in the coming weeks. “We feel that Warralily is taking great steps in cementing itself as the place to live.” Warralily encourages anyone spending time wandering through the display homes to pop into the new estate’s sales and information centre for a coffee and a chat in the WLounge. Prospective buyers can follow Warralily on Facebook to keep updated on developments at facebook. com/warralily.
Visitors are invited to drop by the display village’s information centre for a cuppa and a chat in the W Lounge.
