As part of this, Labor is delivering an extra 96 police officers across the Dandenong Division which covers Narre Warren. A 24 hour police facility could be built in Narre Warren if the Labor Government is re-elected in the state election. Labor will invest $34 million to build a brand new police station on a new site that is highly visible, more accessible to the community and better suits operational needs. This will include scoping land opportunities in and around the commercial centre of Narre Warren, and on major roads that provide

better access for police vehicles. There is also scope to consider how other divisional resources and the divisional headquarters could be accommodated at the new Narre Warren station - including co-locating Crime Investigation, Crime Scene, Intelligence and Highway Patrol units as well as Police Custody Officers and Transit PSOs. Construction of the new station is due for completion in 2022. "Only Labor will build a new 24 hour, state-
