Flower power SILVAN-based nursery icon Anthony Tesselaar knows when he sees an incredible variety of flower. It turns out the Nursery and Garden Industry Awards team agrees with him after the Daphne ‘Perfume Princess’ was awarded Plant of the Year at the recent prestigious awards. Mr Tesselaar was responsible for introducing the plant to Australia from New Zealand. The plant features an amazing perfume with citrus undertones. They gathered to honour not only Mr McAleer’s work but also the sacrifice and bravery Mr Baddeley displayed during his life.
