Angie’s 40, fabulous and out of her ‘comfort zone’ Anniversary of family tragedy
SINGER, actor, TV presenter, model – Angie Hilton’s been a busy whirlwind of celebrity activity for almost two decades. And the young mum of two with ex-Supercats star Braith Cox is showing no signs of slowing down after turning 40 last year. Now she’s juggling television work on What’s Up Downunder with a busy family life and more plans in the pipeline. “It’s my time to keep growing and getting out of my comfort zone and exploring new possibilities, she tells the new edition of Geelong Coast magazine (GC). Those possibilities cover everything from fitness training to renovating her Newtown home with Braith. “I have both kids at school now, so the world’s opening up with a bit of freedom, she says. Angie is just one of the intriguing locals featured in the autumn GC. Local authors, musicians, artists and aid workers – even Geelong Mayor Darryn Lyons modelling his flamboyant personal wardrobe – they’re all in the new GC. Local food, wine, fashions and faces are also part and parcel of the region’s premier glossy lifestyle magazine. A product of the Geelong Independent, GC is available from all good local newsagents.

He called for consideration of several TRAGIC: Norm Robinson initiatives to ease the in the TAC campaign’s TV commercial. toll. Mr Robinson suggested changes to speeding fines included granting three warnings before fining drivers caught one to five kilometres an hour over the limit, doubling existing fines for five to 10km/h over, and impounding cars for 30 days if more than 10km/h above.
