IT’S an exciting time for local disability services provider Melba Support Services. Just two weeks ago they moved into their brand-new premises at the old Swinburne site in Lilydale and have even bigger plans on the horizon. Melba Chief Executive Officer Glenn Foard said it was an exciting time for everyone involved at Melba. “We’re so happy to have the news that the State Government has con-
firmed that we have a home here ongoing,� he said. “We’re all moved in now, but still in transition, we’ve got a few boxes to unpack too.� The move from their Mount Evelyn campus has been bittersweet, but Mr Foard said their links to Mount Evelyn would remain strong. “Our Wray Crescent shopfront will still be there, or as we like to call it Melba Crescent,� he said. “It’s important for us to remain a part of Mount Evelyn, but it’s also 1161505-DC44-14
