Mystery Tour Sixteen lucky, local business people were last week invited to join interior design guru Di Henshall and her team as they embarked on their annual Mystery Tour. The tour showcased some of the team’s recently completed projects in Noosa, and was guaranteed to deliver impressive homes, displaying the exceptional work for which Di Henshall Interior Design has become well-known. Guests were treated to champagne and canapés as the bus made its way between the luxurious properties. The first property on the tour set the bar high.

Already a spectacular residence, set in the belly of an undulating valley, the property underwent a renovation that included the removal of walls to create a more functional space, as well as the creation of a large void in the outdoor roof; a space the owner of the home calls “absolutely spectacular when it rains”. The property houses a large collection of indigenous artefacts and paintings, some of which are cleverly placed in the long hallway to give the home a distinct art gallery feel, while the warm tones and textures of the artworks allow the space to remain inviting.

Agents glow for a good cause The Fusion Sunshine Coast Bright Run is no ordinary fun run: think a 3.5km run, at night with everyone dressed up in glow attire. And all for a good cause. Among this year’s teams was one from Robert James Realty and this was the first of many annual events to raise money for youth programs on the Sunshine Coast. The RJR team not only rallied together for sponsorship “to help create light in the darkness of the lives of youth in our area”, but were also named top fundraisers on the night, having collected $921. The 3.5km run was organised to replicate the concept of creating light. The teams ran in the dark and for each lap they finished they were given glow sticks and light rings which lit up the track as they ran, getting brighter and brighter with each lap completed. Fusion Sunshine Coast is a branch of Fusion Australia, a national and international Christian youth & community organisation. Fusion Sunshine Coast is based at the Alcooringa Youth & Community

Centre in Buderim. The organisation works to connect with youth across the Coast and ultimately help them find hope and a purpose. As part of this they run programs in local high and primary schools, high energy day trips, mentoring programs and heaps more. The group is always looking for volunteers.
