Dear Church Family, My name is Joe Bryant and my wife’s name is Mary Bryant. I have been called to be the Interim Pastor of Starling Avenue Baptist Church. Mary, a former missionary to Ethiopia, has offered her assistance. An Interim Pastor’ duties include preaching, teaching, visiting and encouraging the Church Family until it is able to call a full-time pastor. I hope my experience pastoring several Churches will be helpful. The Church, Mary and I need your prayers. Like many other churches in our area, we have suffered from the effects of the pandemic. We ask the Lord’s help for our people. This congregation consists of all our members. We are thankful for the prayerful support given by everyone whether or not attending. Each of you occupies a place of importance in our fellowship. Thank you for your faithfulness. We are grateful for the folks who listen by phone or watch the Sunday service by electronic means. What a blessing! However, I believe the Lord’s intention is for us to gather together in fellowship once again with as many as possible. Thank you for being a very vital part of Starling Avenue Baptist Church. We know that some of you are unable to come. However, we hope that those of you who are able to come will join in worshiping with us soon. We have Sunday Worship Service at 11:00 AM, Tuesday Prayer and Bible Study at 10:30 AM and at 6:00 PM. Mary and I have already been blessed by meeting wonderful people! We are excited about meeting all of you. We believe God is ready to do great things here. You are loved!
