Today’s Lay Leader, Linda Pulliam; Offertory Prayer, Reed Finley; Hymn Leader, Pat McKinster; Greeters, Joyce Poindexter & Becky Nance; Open & Close, David Bell. Just a friendly reminder that masks are optional, but social distancing should still be observed. This week we are hi-lighting the Personnel Committee, Buildings & Grounds, Chrismon Team and Chrismon Tree Team to help you decide how you can use your gifts & passions at SABC. SERVE-BE-the-Church forms are located at both entrances of the church or you can call the church office. PERSONNEL COMMITTEE – Oversees and supports paid staff. BUILDING & GROUNDS – Evaluates the church property and plans and implements repair and upkeep of the building and grounds in order that the church might have a clean, attractive, safe, and efficient facility for its programs and services. CHRISMON TEAM – Prepares, repairs, and stores the Chrismons. CHRISMON TREE TEAM – Prepares, sets up, takes down, and re-stores the Chrismon tree.


The Quarterly Business Meeting and Luncheon will be held following worship service on Sunday, July 24. The Food Services Team will provide the entrée. If you are able to provide food or help serve the food, please fill out the form located at both entrances to the church. The Worship Service for Sunday, July 24, will be a Hymn Fest! A special thank you to Brandi Dillard, Owner of Soulfood Secrets, for donating 120 brownies for last month’s community meal. The choir is in need of additional singers. If anyone would like to join and would like extra help in learning the music, please contact Pat McKinster at 276-806-4170. You can call or text Pastor Joe at (540) 599-9202.
