We bring back a lot of good players and experience to our team, but we will be younger up front than we have been in past years. I really feel like this is the best group of collective skill players that we have had in our time in Torrington. I am excited to see what we can do offensively this season,” Coach Lenhardt said.
“Defensively, we will be as fast as we have been since I have been here. We need to continue to work on our physicality with our back 7. I think we will have the ability to cover people, but we need to limit the big play better this year. As we continue to get older and mature, I think that we will make fewer mental mistakes and if we can do that I believe we can have a top notch defense. Our biggest challenge is going to be if we can stop the run against big powerful backs and offensive lines. We are going to see that week two at Star Valley so that should be a good gauge for us to see where we need to get to once the conference season rolls around.”

with the group of girls I have for varsity this year,” Coach Jackson said. “My team is stacked with great athletes with a readiness to learn and grow both as individuals and as a team.” Team strengths: “One of
our biggest strengths this year is going to be experience. With nine seniors and seven juniors, we have many girls who have seen a lot of varsity time,” Jackson said. “Our team has been very committed to camps, summer
leagues and open gyms over the summer, which is going to give them a head start on being in shape for this season. I know our team is going to make great strides this year and I’m extremely excited for what this season holds for us.”
