Star Distributing Commercial Laundry Equipment, Inc., based out of Nashville, Tennessee is a full service distributor, offering a wide variety of sales, service, installation and parts for commercial laundry equipment. Star Distributing was established in 1958, by Durwood R. Davis Jr., and has accumulated generations of expertise and knowledge and is well equipped to handle any and all of your commercial laundry needs. We are proud of our track record of over three thousand successful laundry and dry cleaning establishments over the past 53 years! Star Distributing covers commercial laundry needs for four southern states, including our home office in Nashville, Tennessee; Georgia; Alabama and Kentucky.  Star Distributing is one of the oldest commercial laundry distributors in the United States. Star Distributing is well known for establishing some of the finest, most profitable coin laundries in the Southeast. In 1995, Star Distributing purchased Wishy Washy  from James Hofstead and took over the existing office in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Hofstead was one of the first laundry equipment distributors when he started Wishy Washy in 1948.

D. Michael Davis, the owner of Star Distributing in Nashville, Tennessee ensures that Star Distributing remains one of the most technologically advanced Distributors in the United States. Michael Davis and his brother Richard Davis have owned and operated more than thirty laundry and dry cleaning establishments. This gives Star Distributing an advantage in being familiar with all aspects of the Laundry business from the design phase, to construction and through the day-to-day operations. While establishing well over three thousand facilities, it has been the objective of Star Distributing to reach the highest level in our industry. We not only provide a combination of services to increase our competitive position, we also offer the most attractive, well-built stores and distinct facilities available in the United States.

Star has well qualified personnel to help with all your needs. We continue to enjoy growth and expansion in the industry and could not do this without the finest staff. Star is fortunate to have excellent employees in all positions. Our sales team is ready and eager to meet your needs from building a new laundry or remodeling an existing laundry location. Our parts and service divisions are top notch. The parts department, one of the largest in the industry, carries parts for all equipment manufacturers. Our service technicians can work on any type of laundry and/or dry cleaning equipment. The service department offers free service schools several times a year to teach our customer how to work on their own machines, saving them time and money. Our experienced staff assists in making Star Distributing one of the largest distributors in Tennessee and one of the largest in the Southeastern United States. We not only provide a combination of services to increase our competitive position, we also offer the most attractive, distinctive and well-built laundries available in the United States.
