LETTER FROM OUR PRINCIPAL Dear Friends of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, Our school community has much to celebrate and even more to be grateful for. In this year’s Gratitude Report, we pause to recognize you — our families, benefactors, and friends — whose faith-filled generosity sustains our mission and makes every success possible. This year held special meaning as we celebrated 25 years of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School. It was a milestone worth marking, and it reminded us that everything we’ve built — academically, spiritually, and as a community — rests on the generosity and faith of families like yours. We are proud to share that the Fund for St. Anthony reached its largest total in school history, surpassing even last year’s record and reaffirming just how deeply our families believe in the power of Catholic education. The Silver Star Jubilee 25th Anniversary Auction Gala, chaired by Nancy Barr & Michelle Little, was another tremendous success, exceeding our goals and bringing our community together in celebration of our shared mission. Thanks to the strength of the Fund for St. Anthony, auction gala, Steps for Students and thoughful financial stewardship, we maintained a balanced budget for 2025-2026. While we did not contribute to the endowment this year, we are committed to doing so from 2026-2027 funds, ensuring our strength for the next 25 years and beyond. This was also a year of remarkable growth and achievement: Marked our second year partnering with Smart Families, Achieved NWEA scores above both the national and Archdiocesan averages in every subject and grade level, Reached full enrollment, with a waitlist of over 200 students, and Implemented the Science of Reading across all grade levels. Each of these accomplishments reflects your sacrifices and your unwavering belief in our mission. We are blessed with devoted benefactors, innovative educators, hardworking students, and supportive parents — all working together to advance the future of Catholic education. As we look toward the next 25 years, we do so with gratitude and hope. Thank you for your continued prayers, generosity, and dedication to our mission. 2025-2026 HIGHLIGHTS Celebrating 25 Years St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School marked a milestone 25th anniversary this year, honoring a quarter-century of faith-filled Catholic education since our founding in 2001. From our earliest students to today's Dolphins, this celebration recognized the generations of families and educators who have shaped our community.

SMART Families: Year Two Building on last year’s launch, St. Anthony continued its partnership with the SMART Families program for a second year, deepening our commitment to helping families create a happier, healthier, and more intentional relationships with technology. Continued events and resources supported our community in living faith-filled, balanced lives in today's digital world.

Academic Excellence on NWEA For another year, St. Anthony students scored above both national and Archdiocesan averages on the NWEA assessment, across every subject and every grade level. This achievement reflects the dedication of our faculty and the rigor of our academic program in forming well-rounded, high-achieving students.

Full Enrollment, Growing Demand St. Anthony reached full enrollment this year, with a waitlist of more than 200 students hoping to join our school community. This remarkable demand is a testament to the reputation and impact of a St. Anthony education throughout The Woodlands and beyond.

Science of Reading This year, St. Anthony implemented the Science of Reading across all grade levels, adopting evidence-based literacy instruction to strengthen reading outcomes for every student. This initiative equips our teachers with research-backed tools to build strong, confident readers from PK3 through 8th grade.

Drs. Chrissy and Jason Piefer We were proud to present the Founders Award to Drs. Chrissy and Jason Piefer. Five years ago, they chaired our 20th Anniversary Gala, leading with vision and generosity during a milestone year for our school. Since then, they have remained devoted supporters as annual gala sponsors and longstanding participants in our folder sponsorship program. Chrissy has served on the Advancement Committee, volunteered as a room parent, and chaperoned field trips. Jason, of Piefer Bone & Joint – The Woodlands Sports Medicine Center, has cared for many of our school families over the years. Parents to alumni Cameron (Class of 2023) and Caleb (Class of 2024) and to Caroline in 7th grade, they also serve faithfully in several parish ministries. STEPS FOR STUDENTS Steps for Students, an annual 5K Run/Walk, raises awareness for Catholic schools across the Greater Houston area. St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School had a team on February 14, 2026 and raised over $6,000 for our school. The vision of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School is to guide the mind, body, and spirit of the next generation of Catholic leaders to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ as beacons of light to the world.

PHILOSOPHY St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, in partnership with parents, is focused on the continuous formation of the whole Christian person. Our learner-centered curriculum maintains high academic standards and nurtures the development of a life-long love of learning. Students are actively engaged through the use of a variety of instructional methods and emerging technologies that promote collaboration and higher level thinking skills. Within a welcoming, Christ-centered environment, students are made aware of their role as members of the Christian community through the teaching of Catholic doctrine, participation in liturgy and worship, preparation for the sacraments and involvement in service projects. Members of our school community are encouraged to live as Disciples of Christ, serving all people by sharing the gifts and talents received from God.
