ELECTRICITY

The resort will be mainly powered by solar panels with batteries but will have diesel generators for backup. This approach ensures the resort remains as environmentally friendly as possible while providing a stable electricity supply, which can be challenging to achieve in Zanzibar.

SWIMMING POOLS

One of the great attractions is the swimming pools. The rooftop area, with a great view of the resort towards the sea, features a 25-meter (82 feet) long infinity pool with a bar and leisure area. Even greater is the main swimming pool, stretching from the reception to the beach, totaling 185 meters (607 feet). Sun beds are placed on the sides and also in the pool on small islands.

THE BEACH

At low tide, there is a 160-meter (525 feet) natural white sand beach. In addition, the resort has an equally long artificial fine sand beach with sun beds, bars, and restaurants. At the end of the pier is the water sports center, a yacht, and a restaurant where you can enjoy the view and the quietness of the evening. The beach is also home to the beautiful Beach Club and a relaxation area at the opposite end.

The Resort a closer look at the resort

FRONT BUILDINGS AND RECEPTION

All along the property on the main road, you can see that you are now entering luxury land. The resort is surrounded by a beautifully decorated wall, with a pavement beside the wall for pedestrians. South of the entrance is the parking lot, and to the north are the supermarket, wine shop, and nightclub.

From the main road, you are greeted by a beautiful entrance with palms and a fountain, where you will arrive by hotel pickup service, taxi, or by your own car for valet parking.

Located in the center building on the ground floor are the reception and concierge, medical center, business center, meeting rooms, domestic service center, gym, spa & wellness, changing rooms, fun room, padel tennis court, and kids’ room.

At the concierge, you can also book day trips to Stone Town, Nungwi, Paje, Spice Farms, Swimming with the Dolphins and Turtles, or other excursions.

The Resort along the Pool

EXPANSIVE MAIN POOL WITH CONVENIENT AMENITIES

The main pool stretches from the reception to the beach, totaling 185 meters (607 feet), and has two bridges along the way to cross dry-footed. On the sides of the pool are areas for enjoying your food or drink from the restaurant or coffee shop, as well as areas for sun beds both by the pool and in the pool. Small shops and cafés are also placed along the pool, and in the pool, you will find pool bars where you can swim up and get a drink.

ECO-FRIENDLY SALTWATER POOL SYSTEM

The main pool is a saltwater pool where sea water is filtered and pumped up to the end of the pool, from where it flows towards the beach and back to the sea with two waterfalls on the way. No chemicals are used or needed as the natural salt from the sea water keeps the pool free from bacteria. Naturally, levels are measured every day to ensure the safety of all guests.

On top of the spa and the multicuisine restaurant is the greatest rooftop bar in Zanzibar, with the 25-meter (82 feet) long infinity pool. From here, you have the most beautiful view of not only the resort but all the way to the ocean. For early birds, it offers the most incredible sunrise views, and you are free to enjoy your breakfast here as well.

The rooftop bar serves both classic drinks like Martinis, Negroni, Daiquiri, Mojito, and whisky sour, as well as more modern versions like Espresso Martini and Amaretto Sour. Incredible non-alcoholic cocktails are also served, such as the Virgin Colada or Virgin Mojito, and other New Fusion non-alcohol cocktails, fresh juices, smoothies, and sodas.

BEACH CLUB

Where the main pool ends with the last waterfall, the beach begins. To the south, next to the Italian restaurant, is the Beach Club, which is open all day and serves drinks and food along with club music for guests looking to party. For guests not staying at the resort, there is an entrance fee to access the Beach Club.

BEACH RELAXATION AREA

To the north is the Beach Relaxation area, where massage services are available along with hammocks and sun beds. This is a quiet area with no music, just the soothing sound of the waves.

EXPLORING THE BEACH AND PIER

Walking from the Beach Relaxation area towards the middle of the beach, you will first pass the small circular pier with the Sailing Yacht, then the Beach Bar, until you find yourself back at the end of the main swimming pool. From here, a path leads towards the pier, splitting into two ends: one with a restaurant and the other with the Dive & Watersports Centre.

DIVE & WATERSPORTS CENTRE

The Dive & Watersports Centre offers snorkeling and diving trips to swim with the fish, along with training courses for PADI dive certificates. For non-dive days, there are jet-skiing, water-skiing, banana boat rides, and parachute rides to ensure you have fun all day on the water and by the beach.

The Pier Restaurant offers a great experience both day and evening, while the Italian Beach Restaurant is located right at the beach. Hygiene is of great importance to us, and all staff undergo thorough training in proper hygiene practices. Strict hygiene rules are applied, and all staff must comply. Disinfection alcohol is provided at all restaurants, and guests are encouraged to use it in a friendly manner.

CLUBBING

During the day, the Beach Club is open for drinks, dancing, and partying. At night, the Night Club located near the main road continues the party. At times, international DJs set the scene, and other times, live music is playing. You will always have a great time. Non-resort guests must register and pay entrance fees for both clubs.

SECURITY

Security is of great importance, with 24hour surveillance of most public areas of the resort to ensure the safety of all guests. Security guards are present at the entrance, the clubs, the pool, and the beach.

Guards are well-trained to be polite, service-minded, and provide security to ensure all guests have the best experience possible. Non-resort guests must register at the reception to enter, making safety the top priority at all times.

Maintenance of apartments and villas includes painting walls, regrouting where needed, and replacing broken or wornout items. This also includes maintenance of outside areas in villas and public areas. All property services are provided professionally.

A personal trainer can be provided for gym sessions. Room service is available 24/7 and can provide food and drinks from the room service menu. Piccolo service is available to bring and retrieve your bags or other items as needed.

The concierge service provides you with local information about the Island of Zanzibar and advice on where to go and what to see. You can also book day trips to Stone Town, Nungwi, Paje, Spice Farms, Swimming with Dolphins and Turtles, or other excursions. Depending on how much you use the apartment yourself and how much it can be rented out, there will be different returns on investment. However, you

can expect an 8-12% yearly return on investment at an occupancy rate of 65%. The resort handles everything, including marketing, making deals with booking platforms like Booking.com and Expedia.
