2026-27 UPPER SCHOOL REACH ENRICHMENT PROGRAM REACH is an Upper School Enrichment Program that is designed to challenge students to think deeply and push beyond their academic comfort zones. Perfect for curious and motivated students, the curriculum empowers students to aim high, think boldly, and take ownership of their learning. Students will practice essential Habits of Mind, like thinking flexibly and interdependently and listening with understanding and empathy, to strengthen both academic and personal growth.
reach offerings Peer Mentoring Training Peer Mentoring Training prepares students to be supportive, reliable leaders who help peers grow academically and personally. Mentors learn practical strategies to support skills like math fact fluency, spelling, study habits, and public speaking, while modeling approaches that build confidence and independence. The course, offered during Intensives, emphasizes strong relationships, teaching students to listen actively, respond with empathy, and support peers thorugh social situations. Mentors also learn to set goals, track progress, and promote growth over time. Students develop basic lesson planning skills to lead focused, engaging sessions tailored to individual needs. Overall, the course builds leadership, communication, and real-world teaching skills that extend beyond the classroom.
Literary Magazine Editorial Board Be part of history in the making! In this exciting, after-school course, students will help create St. Anne’s School’s first-ever literary magazine from concept to publication. Serving as members of the editorial board, students will read and thoughtfully select creative pieces submitted by their peers, learning how to evaluate writing for voice, orginality, and impact. Beyond writing and editing, students will collaborate on key decisions that bring the magazine to life, including voting on the official title and shaping the overall vision of the publication. This course is perfect for students who love to read, write, and express ideas creatively while working as a part of a team. The Literary Magazine Editorial Board offers a unique opportunity to develop voice, leadership, and editorial skills while leaving a lasting mark on the St. Anne’s School community.
