
Stanlandic Constitution
Preamble
This document is made for the explanation of our government. How our political system works and who makes the decisions in our micronation.
Citation
This document shall be cited as the “Governmental Stanlandic Constitution”.
Commencement
This document shall commence into law immediately after the signing of this document.
Chapter 1: The Government
Article 1 - The Government
The Leader has the most power in the land and has the most choice. If the Leader can’t choose, the Royals will discuss. If they can’t decide, the people will have a democratic vote for it.
Article 2 - Duties and Powers
The Leader shall have the duties of:
• Regulate the currency;
• Declare war;
• Maintain foreign affairs;
• Enforce and execute the Constitution;
• Maintain, propose, and question legislation;
• Ensure that Stanland operates to the best of our abilities;
• Regulate domestic trading;
• Manage roads and transport;
• Manage education.
And the Royals have power of:
• Making harder decisions the Leader can’t make
• Controlling provinces
• Control of 75% of the army
Chapter 2: Legislative
Article 3 - The Legislature
The Leader again has the most word and has most power over new laws in Stanland. The Leader shall have the duties of:
• Proposing and voting on proposals and documents for the government;
• Ensuring that our government is functioning.
Article 4 - Royal tree
Royals are either elected or appointed into royalty by the Leader but can always be fired by the Leader.
Article 5 - House of Family
The House of Family has control over too bizarre or over-the-top actions the government takes. If high-ranked people of the House of Family decide to cancel the plan, they talk with the Leader.
Article 6 – Powers House of Family
The legislature shall have the powers of:
• Dismiss the Leader and their government through a motion of no confidence;
Article 7 – Royalty leave
Royalty can either quit by themselves with approval of the Leader or get fired by the Leader for trespassing the rules or the law.
Chapter 3: Executive
Article 8 - The Executive
Our nation’s executive power shall be vested in the Leader. The executive shall have the duties of:
• Enforcing and executing laws and the Constitution;
Article 9 - The Leader
The Leader shall be the head of government and head of state of our nation, as well as
lead the executive branch of the government, elected by the House of Commons through a fifty-one percent vote by members of Parliament. The Leader shall have the responsibility of:
• Enforcing, executing, and approving laws;
• Fulfilling duties listed in Article 2 of this very Constitution;
• Providing a stable and effective government to the people of this nation;
• Control of all ministries
Article 10 - Powers of the Leader
The Leader shall have full control of the nation, meaning every choice is first directed to the Leader.
Chapter 4: Judicial
Article 11 - The Judicial System
The judicial power is split between the House of Family and the Royals.
Article 12 - Judges
Judges are chosen by the Royals and House of Family under choice of the Leader.
Article 13 - Court Powers
Courts shall have the powers of:
• Striking down law(s) due to it being unconstitutional;
• Ability to interpret laws and the words therein;
• Punish individual(s) for infractions or violations of the law(s).
Article 14 – The Person of the Law
The person of the law will be the highest-ranked judge and be with every case and make most decisions.
Article 15 - Powers of the Chief Justice
The person of the law shall gain the powers of:
• Suggesting new laws
• Controlling every case
Article 16 - Removal of a Judge
Judges can be removed through a supermajority vote of seventy-five percent in the House of Family.
Chapter 7: Rights and Freedoms
Article 17 - Rights
All people in our nation, as well as users of our Discord server service, shall gain these
rights regardless of being a citizen or not of our nation:
• The right to vote;
• The right to privacy;
• The right to a fair trial;
• The right to political affiliation;
• The right to form a union or to unionize;
• The right to peaceful assembly;
• The right to work.
The government shall not abridge or deny these rights and shall, to the best of their ability, fulfill these rights.
Article 18 - Freedoms
All people in our nation, as well as users of our Discord server service, shall gain these freedoms regardless of being a citizen or not of our nation:
• Freedom of speech (except hate speech against government);
• Freedom of expression;
• Freedom of movement;
• Freedom of religion;
• Freedom of the press;
• Freedom from forced servitude.
The government shall not abridge or deny these freedoms and shall, to the best of their ability, respect these freedoms.
Chapter 8: Amending this Document
This Constitution may be amended through:
• A proposal by the Leader
• Final ratification by the Leader.
