Hi Olesia, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you’re having fun. I’m having a great time. It’s hot and sunny here in Sydney, of course. At the moment we’re all preparing for our New Year’s Day lunch. We love getting together with family and friends, so we’re having a big BBQ in the garden. My dad’s cooking burgers and steaks outside. My sister, Lisa, is outside too but she isn’t helping, of course. She’s talking with our cousins. My mum’s in the kitchen with one of my aunts. They’re making dessert. It’s a surprise! They always make delicious desserts. Mmmm! Anyway, that’s all for now because I must go and help. Best wishes, Mandy C. Read and complete the phrases 1-4 with the words given.
