Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride!

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

ANNIE HAS THE CAPABILITY TO BURN JET FUEL.

Annabelle is a 2012 Stage 2 Roush Mustang and the result of a five year build by her owner C W Rhodes. Her paint is factory black with crab claw design ghost flames. The flames are of a metal flake blue pearl base with a coat of metal flake silver pearl topped off with metal flake white pearl.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

The engine is a naturally aspirated 5.2L Aluminator XS Crate Motor. She has a 90mm throttle body, 53lb injectors, oversize valves, 14:1 compression flat top pistons, cross plane crankshaft and a full race electronic tune. The entire engine bay is covered in brushed and polished stainless steel with blue LED lighting. Annie has the capability to burn jet fuel. Her best 1/4 mile time is 9.63 at 143mph.

All of this is coupled to a 6 speed manual shift top loader transmission featuring a dual clutch plate system, hooked up to a 9 inch limited slip differential with 3:55 gears. Annie can lay down 597 hp to the ground. At the writing of this article, she is an 18 time show champion, has been featured in STANG Magazine three times and made the cover twice.

WE BOTH COULDN’T BE HAPPIER.

This is my 2017 Mustang GT California Special. I’m excited to tell you a little bit about Bill, myself, and our Mustangs. Bill and I met in 1987 when I was 17. He was my manager at a hardware store in Connecticut. We had a brief relationship but I never stopped thinking about him. We then were together for a night the day before I went to Virginia for a visit. I never went back to Connecticut. Thankfully, with social media we were able to reconnect via Facebook in 2017.

That year is very appropriate as that is the year for both our Mustangs. Life had prevented us from being together until 2021. I’m happy to say we now live together in Florida since February and we both couldn’t be happier. I recently purchased my 2017 Ford Mustang 5.0 California Special. Belle is her name and she is beautiful. We put together car shows at True Value in Melbourne, Florida as well as go to other car shows with them. I’m so excited and happy to have this amazing opportunity with him and our cars in my life.

PURCHASING THIS CAR HAS BROUGHT A LOT OF HAPPINESS TO MY LIFE.

This is my 2015 Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible nicknamed “Black Betty.” Mods include a Stage 2 Roush supercharger, Borla catback exhaust system, 750 horsepower, and long tube headers.

I have always wanted another Mustang since I had one years ago. I finally took a dive and bought a 2017 Convertible Mustang. Six months later, I traded it in for a much faster one! I love to put the top down and take a long scenic drive to see family in Kentucky.

Another favorite thing to do is go to car shows. Specifically an event my nephew holds called Cars and Coffee. Purchasing this car has brought a lot of happiness to my life. I am happy being a part of the Mustang community.

THESE CARS ARE SO MUCH FUN TO DRIVE.

This is “Black Betty Ram Jam”, my 2001 Mustang GT. My wife June bought this Mustang for me about this time last year. She knew I wanted another Mustang since we have owned two others in the past. She also figured it would cool my jets by drawing me to car shows and cruises.It worked!

The car has had many modifications from stock. It now has a 5.0 Coyote Stoker with Trick Flow everything, long headers and a tricked up exhaust. It has a racing 5 speed transmission and a 4:10 rear gear. It has all the power I could ever want. Last December, I had the car totally wrapped and Carbon Fiber installed on the hood, top, and tail. It has good paint underneath but I wanted to protect it if anything.

I took it to several car shows last year and was lucky enough to be gifted several trophies. I joined a group on FB called “Smoky Mountain Stangs”. They are a group here in East Tennessee that has over 2K members. They attend many car shows and organize group cruises almost every other week which have many participants. I also run a FB group

called “Mustangs of East Tennessee”. A place where anyone in East Tennessee with a Mustang can post pictures of their Mustang and have fun discussing all the builds they have. These cars are so much fun to drive. I look forward to many more years of doing just that.

WE LIKE TO PUT THE TOP DOWN AND LISTEN TO MUSIC AND JUST ENJOY THE RIDE TO FEEL YOUNG AGAIN.

My name is Fernand Leclair and this is my 2017 Mustang GT in the color Grabber Blue. My passion for Mustangs started years ago shortly after I was born. From 1966 to now, I have been a life long fan. In 2020, my wife decided to buy me a gift. We are currently building a garage for it and enjoy every minute of owning a Mustang. We like to put the top down and listen to music and just enjoy the ride to feel young again. We also like to ride with my son, who is an owner of a 2006 Mustang GT. It is a family thing. We also love to ride with our local Mustang club, have lunch, and discuss Mustangs with people around.

Our Mustang is a 2017 GT, 5 liter with future plans to add a Corsa Extreme 3 inch exhaust and a super charger. It is currently equipped with a NG gauge, tune, air intake, X pipe with 2 1/2 inch setup, oil seperator, racer shift knob, and current dyno numbers estimate about 550 HP.

My name is Rick Robertson and this is my 2023 Mustang GT with Night Pony Package in Dark Matter Gray Pearl. I purchased it new on 6/24/23 and it currently has 886 miles on it. It will be under more performance upgrades over the next 12 months.

This 2023 Mustang GT Premium has a Gen 3 Coyote engine, 6 speed manual transmission, Hurst Competition plus short throw shifter, HP RTD tuner with Ortiz Performance stage 1 tune and level 3 flex fuel tune, Injen cold air intake, J&L oil separator, Mishimoto polished aluminum coolant tank, Roush Racing H pipe with active exhaust, Eibach Sportline lowering springs, Torsen differential with 4.09 gears, DSS aluminum driveshaft, American Muscle 19”×8.5” front and 19”×10” rear GT 350 style wheels with Micky Thompson Street Comp tires, and GT 350 Performance pack spoiler.

My name is Joe Pante from Victoria, Australia. I’ve always had a passion for Fords since a young age and purchased my 2007 Mustang GT Premium Convertible in July 2014. The car had been imported from the US and converted to right hand drive to meet with Australian standards.

I’m the second owner and since then the car has had some minor cosmetic changes. It has become my pride and joy and often gets driven weekly. I often attend car shows and the car has won awards over my time of ownership.

IT CAME WITH 25 YEARS OF EXTENSIVE SERVICE RECORDS.

My name is Rick Robertson and this is my Rio Red 1999 Mustang GT 35th Anniversary. I purchased this car a month ago from a coworker who was the original owner with only 54,600 miles on it. It came with 25 years of extensive service records.

This Mustang has a 4.6 engine, automatic transmission, original convertible top and Rio Red paint, K&N series 69 Typhoon cold air intake, Vogtland 1.6” lowering springs, KYB Excell G shocks and struts, American Muscle 17”×8” bullet style Gloss Black wheels, Mach 1 grille with black running horse, and was purchased from the original owner with garaged kept perfect interior.

SUPER STALLION 2.0 - 2000 MUSTANG GT

IT IS NOW REAL CLOSE LOOKING TO THE SUPER STALLION...

My love of mustangs started when my father bought an old 1968 Fastback. It sat in our garage forever, as my dad and I never got the chance to rebuild it. He had to sell it to pay some medical bills when my mom got cancer. I have always wanted another one. My son Tyler brought home a 99 Mustang a couple years ago and made me want another one, so I purchased one shortly after him so we can rebuild them together. Last year we wrapped his right before the Sturgis Mustang Rally in a Dark Metallic Green however, we will be changing it this year as he needs to do some body work on his car. Even with the green color it did well at the show and Tyler took Gold and mine took Silver when we didn’t expect anything other than a good time looking at Mustangs. With that said, we decided to do something with mine, a 2000 Mustang GT that is now dressed up in Super Stallion clothes.

The car is a work in progress. We started on the outside, worked on it most of the winter, and it is now real close looking to the Super Stallion, with a slight variation. Same color and the same lines. Interior floor is F1 mats, has leather with blue diamond stich, and the rear seat delete is the same material along with the trunk liner.

Next we upgraded some wiring for fog lights and some minor things along with a BAMA ecu tuner. Also the car had a wiring issue after a mess of wires on someone’s radio install prior to me owning the car.

So the car was out of order for almost a year, no headlights, marker and tail lights, but thanks to a friend “Greg B” it was all fixed. This month’s project is long tube headers, 3.73 rear end, and we just installed a Helixed throttle body spacer and intake spacer. Those two things I didn’t think would do anything, but man was I wrong! It does give it a little snap especially with the 70mm throttle body and upgraded injectors.

VALENTINE - 2012 MUSTANG

I WANTED TO GO OLD SCHOOL...

This is “Valentine” my 2012 V6 Cyclone with Performance Pack in Ingot Silver. It has American Muscle Chrome Craiger style wheels with Mickey Thompson tires and the plate says “ITS QWIK.”

I grew up in the 70s where Mustangs peppered the school parking lot. I was always drawn to the 69 Mach I. It was just something about the long hood and tapered back end that always caught my eye. Last year on Valentine’s Day I purchased this 2012 V6 Mustang in Ingot Silver and named her Valentine. The car is typical of Mustangs with all the interior options. What caught my eye was the V6 Performance Package with the GT Coupe Accessory Pack adding the rear spoiler, side scoops, and quarter window louvers. The GT fog lights were the icing on the cake as they have always been a favorite item of mine on these cars.

Once I got the car home it was time to figure out how to make her my own. One of the first things was to add some dress up items to the engine compartment including a new K&N air filter and just general clean up. Next were the wheels. The stock 19” wheels were okay, but I wanted to go old school so I added polished 19” chrome wheels with Mickey Thompsons. I installed them with new rotors and painted calipers. Now the Valentine is starting to look like something from the 70s, but the interior need-

ed some attention. The factory leather seats which showed some wear since she was a daily driver were replaced with custom leather seats which have really complimented the retro interior.

I’ve also added a Boss 302/CS lower front fascia with foglights which really completed the look after these photos were taken. Future plans include window tint, UD pulleys, and BBK shorty headers. It may be a V6 but the 307 hp still is fun to drive and looks great.
