HONORING OUR FANS AND THEIR MUSTANGS

M A G A Z I N E

Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride! - Daniel Ramey, Editor-In-Chief

So when I agreed on the price for the car I went through the barn and dug up all the parts I could find. Which included a brand new rebuilt HiPo 289 hidden and sealed in a plastic bag. It was a long block. So I had to find an intake manifold and other engine parts. We packed all we could find in the car and in the bed of the pickup truck, and had to return the following weekend for the other stuff we didn’t have room for like the transmission and export brace and Monte Carlo Bar. I did some work on it in my garage to the suspension like the Shelby drop and welded in adjusters for caster and

The original 302 began making noises it shouldn’t but I had already built a 351 Cleveland 4 barrel engine as a replacement. It has no performance parts other than a Mallory electronic distributor. The 351 4v engines are healthy enough. In November of 2023, I was thrilled to be able to drive Big Red at the Talladega Super Speedway. Rain poured down that Saturday but for five laps I averaged about 80 mph. I had waited a long time to be able to drive on the track. Every time I start the engine I’m 16 again.

Nothing can compare to the uniqueness of the modern Bullitt Mustang. As far as modifications, WHY? The only “enhancement” this car needed is a green CAI filter and a black cover for the ugly radiator overflow plastic tank. This car looks and sounds great as it is! We have every intention to leave it as close to stock as possible. We have shown the car in many shows, with it winning “Best Mustang” in its first big car show in 2019. It is a dream to drive and feel and hear the power of the 5.0 liter Coyote engine in this car.

I really wanted a new GT500 but couldn’t afford the six figure price tag plus would be too scared to track it at that price. So I started looking for a rebuilt title car. With the help of Midway Mustang and The Parts Farm, I was able to get a 2021 GT500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack. The car had all the body work done and was ready for paint. Well I didn’t have time to paint it so I reached out to a friend of mine and the owner of Dipp Worxx about a cool Idea I had of dipping the car Mystic Chrome and he jumped on board. I then threw on a set of 5 spoke Velgen weels for that cobra throw back look. We then took the opportunity to launch our Motorsports brand Gunnit Garage which at this point
