Welcome to Stanford Open 2023

Stanford University and the Stanford Boys Gymnastics Boosters welcome you to the 30th Annual Stanford Open. We are proud to offer one of the foremost junior andseniormen’sgymnasticscompetitionsintheUnitedStates.

The first Stanford Open was held in 1992. It was a small, one-day, local meet. Since those humble beginnings, this meet has grown exponentially into a major three-day event. This year we welcome international competitorsfromEdmonton, Canada as well as competitors from aroundtheUnitedStates,includingColorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, NewYork,Oregon,Texas,andourhomestateofCalifornia.

This year, themeethasbeendesignatedasaqualificationcompetitionfortheUSA Winter Cup Challenge for FIG Senior Elite athletes (top 3 AA, excluding pre-qualifiedathletes).

As is tradition, theStanfordOpenwillagainincludeanNCAAsessionoffantastic college competitors as Stanford competes against University of California Berkeley. These competitors will in turn vie against members of Team USA, seniorelitesfromacrosstheUSAaswellastopqualifyingLevel10gymnasts.

This meet would not be such a success without the help of our many, MANY volunteers, without whom we would still be a small, local, one-day meet. We thank the families of the current andformerSBGathleteswhohavedonatedtheir time to organize and run the meet.
