Re-Enrollment Frequently Asked Questions When is the contract and deposit due?

For returning families, the deadline to submit the contract and non-refundable enrollment deposit is Friday, March 10, 2017. After this date, a $100 late fee will be instituted.

How do I pay the enrollment deposit?

The online contract allows you three options: “pay by credit card”, “pay by electronic check”, and “pay by cash”. If you choose to pay by credit card, there will be a 2.9% convenience fee charged, bringing the total to $617.40. To pay by electronic check, you enter the details from your bank account and the money will be automatically deducted from your account with no additional service charge. If you would prefer to pay in cash, please select “Cash” on the contract, and bring your deposit to the Admissions Office for processing. We highly encourage all families to pay using the automated system in order to expedite the enrollment process.

How do I pay tuition on the semester or monthly payment plan and what is Smart Tuition?

If you are choosing to pay tuition on the semester or monthly payment plan, this service is not administered directly by the school. All semester and monthly plans will be administered through Smart Tuition, a third-party tuition management service used by schools across the country. Smart Tuition allows you to create an account and link a bank account or credit card to that account from which they will automatically deduct the semester or monthly tuition, helping to ensure there are no missed payments or avoidable late fees. This company is a trusted and secure organization that has been serving schools for over 25 years. The service fee for the semester payment plan is $100 and the service fee for the monthly payment plan is $400.

How do I enroll in Smart Tuition?

Once you submit the contract, you will receive a link to enroll with Smart Tuition: www.enrollwithsmart.com. Please enroll with them before the beginning of June to ensure your account is set up before the first tuition payment due date of on July 5, 2017.

How does Smart Tuition know what to deduct from my account?

The School sends the tuition amount less any discounts or financial awards to Smart Tuition at the beginning of May. Smart Tuition uses that information to set up your payment structure, which will reflect the Tuition Disclosure Form (included with the school’s online enrollment contract) and/or the Financial Aid agreement mailed to your home, if applicable.

My family receives financial aid. Do I need to pay the service fees?

No, the service fees associated with the payment plans charged by St. Andrew’s Schools are waived for families receiving financial aid. The online enrollment contract should automatically take this into account. Please contact us if you receive financial assistance and your contract shows any service fees. Smart Tuition will charge their own fees for tuition payments made via credit card and late payments. Please refer to their fee policy for more information.

How do divorced families or those with two households complete the contract?

Two parents can sign the online contract (and must if they are both financially responsible for paying the tuition), but only one may submit payment via credit card or electronic check. The system only allows a one-time payment of the full $600 deposit. If you would like to split the enrollment deposit between parents, please select “Cash” as your payment option (as this will allow you to submit the contract without payment) and walk-in or mail your payments directly to the Admissions Office. Please ensure these payments are received by March 10, 2017 in order to avoid the $100 late fee. To ensure the tuition amount is distributed appropriately through Smart Tuition, please contact Roanne Abe in the Business Office to help set up the accounts accurately.

In order for two parents to sign the contract, one parent (Parent A) begins the process: • Parent A completes document, signs contract, and then submits the document.

• Parent A is presented an option to notify a second signer.

• Parent B receives email inviting them to sign the contract, signs in to portal account and signs the document. Parent B can only sign the document and cannot make any edits to document.

• Once both parents have signed the contract, either parent can pay the deposit.
