St. Andrew’s Schools 2017-2018 Athletic Information The Priory is a member of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH), a league in which private schools, in grades 7-12, participate in sports at a competitive level. In order to provide playing opportunities for larger team sports, The Priory will sometimes join the Pac 5 organization. The Pac 5 program consists of 19 small schools that combine together to participate in sports that may otherwise not be offered. The Pac 5 program is run by it’s own Athletic Director who is essentially in charge of the coaches for those teams. All Pac 5 players must still adhere to all Priory athletic rules and regulations. Pac 5 clearance forms must be obtained from The Priory athletic office before any student can tryout for a Pac 5 team. In order for your daughter to try out for a Priory or Pac 5 team, she will need to have the school medical form (located on our website) filled out by a physician and an athletic permission form signed by a parent/guardian. To participate in a fall sport, forms will need to be mailed or turned in prior to the first day of tryouts. Please keep in mind that all fall sports will begin before school starts. An athlete will not be allowed to practice or try out for a team unless the completed forms are turned in. The Intermediate level is grades 7-9, JV level is 9-11, and Varsity is 9-12. Listed below are the sports offered for the 2017-2018 school year. Transportation will not be provided until school starts on August 21st . If you have any questions about The Priory athletics program, please contact the Athletics Director, Missy Kilbey at mkilbey@standrewsschools.org Current Priory student-athletes in grades 7-12 who are wanting to participate in volleyball, kayaking, paddling, basketball, soccer, wrestling, softball, water polo, sailing and judo, will be required to take a baseline concussion test. These tests will be offered once school begins in August. Any Priory students wishing to participate in a fall sport should contact the Athletic Director immediately to schedule a testing time.
