MIDDLE SCHOOL

Welcome to Middle School at St. Andrew’s College. We are so pleased to anticipate a return to school on our beautiful campus and eagerly await the transformation of desolate grounds to ones that bustle with activity. Educating in a COVID-19 era has tested our ability to transform learning spaces, create innovative approaches to teaching, and reimagine programmatic features that include daily routines, academic and co-curricular offerings, and community building. While the day-to-day structure may look and feel different, our dedication and commitment to the student experience have not faltered. We are confident that our Return to School Plan and comprehensive program will provide endless opportunities for an adaptable student body.

The Middle School experience is one that focuses on the unique development of boys through their most formative years. We recognize this stage of growth brings an abundance of untapped potential; promise and risk-taking run high and failures are expected, but these eventually lead to triumphant moments. We aim to ensure our offerings are forward-thinking, innovative, exciting, and practical as we prepare our students for the skills and emotional intelligence required for tomorrow, all the while striving to become “the complete man, the well-round citizen.”

The dedicated Middle School faculty are eager to engage your son in the classroom, in the art studio, on the fields and courts, in a challenging, yet supportive manner. The energy, enthusiasm, and commitment that every teacher brings to teaching and learning at SAC are inspirational; just wait and see!

This section of the Parent and Student Handbook is offered specifically for our Middle School families. It provides important content as it pertains to our Middle School program. Please note that some of the information may be inapplicable given the Return to School protocols. Irrespective, I am confident that you will find the information helpful as you begin or continue to navigate your educational journey at St. Andrew’s College.
