What’s Kintsugi?
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese technique of repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer. The mended gold veins become a celebration of imperfection instead of hiding it. We love that philosophy!
Stamp the vein image with VersaMark ink (p. 131) and heat emboss with gold WOW! Embossing Powder (p. 133).
Die cut a vase out of gold-veined paper and colour with Stampin’ Blends™ (p. 129, 137–139).

Keep It Clean

It’s Ir-Resistible
Try the emboss resist technique. Emboss the wreath with white embossing powder, then use the flat brush tip of a Water Painter to brush ink over it. The embossed image resists the ink and makes the image stand out.

Create a gold-touched card. Swipe VersaMark ink (p. 131) along the side of a card, sprinkle with gold embossing powder, then blur the edge with your finger and emboss.
