Anne Frank + You Exhibition Thursday 23 January - Thursday 20 February Discover the remarkable story of Anne Frank in this thought-provoking exhibition about her life and legacy. This captivating and inspirational exhibition, presented by The Anne Frank Trust UK, explores Anne Frank, her diary and the Holocaust, and how issues such as racial hatred, the value of freedom and education play out in the modern world. The exhibition also features a life-size replica of Anne’s bedroom in the the secret annexe where the Frank family hid in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam.

Exhibition Opening times

General admission to the exhibition is FREE. Schools will be using the exhibition space every day during school hours. Please check the website before your visit for any changes to the below. Monday to Friday (term time), 2pm - 4pm Monday 17 to Thursday 20 February (half term), 10am - 4pm Saturday, 10am - 3pm and Sunday, 1pm - 5pm School groups need to book into the exhibition in advance by calling 01727 890212. A bursary fund for school visits to the exhibition is kindly supported by Stowe Family Law.

Talks Alongside the Anne Frank + You Exhibition, there is a series of talks, including the opportunity to hear from a Holocaust survivor, to explore how we might understand suffering in the world, and to discuss Anne Frank’s legacy and impact today.

Broken Covenant: The Holocaust in Jewish Theology and Theodicy

Thursday 30 January, 7.30pm, Alban Room Join Rabbi Adam to explore how Jewish theology has responded to the challenge of the Holocaust, looking at modern approaches and precedents in Jewish tradition that try to explain or justify human evil in the world. The Surprising Global Legacy of Anne Frank

Tuesday 4 February, 7.30pm, Abbot’s Kitchen Café Join Gillian Walnes Perry as she shares the legacy of Anne Frank today. Drawing on the insights of those who knew Anne personally, explore how her message continues to inspire people across the world. Tutor: Gillian Walnes Perry MBE, Co-founder and Executive Director The Anne Frank Trust UK Tickets £10 (£6 for students), available from the Cathedral Box Office.

Born Survivors Wednesday 12 February, 7.30pm, Nave Hear from Eva Clarke, born in the death camp of Mauthausen, in conversation with award winning author Wendy Holden. Listen as they tell the extraordinary stories of three young women. Separated from their husbands, all three passed through the gates of Auschwitz II - Birkenau with a secret, but were determined to hold on to all they had left – their lives and those of their unborn babies. Led by bestselling author Wendy Holden with survivor Eva Clarke. Tickets £10 (£6 for students), available from the Cathedral Box Office Signed copies of Wendy Holden's book, Born Survivors, will be available to buy on the night.
