Claus Director’s Note

Book and lyrics by We are coming to the ending of a story that started in Christopher October of 2022.Dimond Last year we held onto this show with our fingernails while the bottom was dropping out. A er delaying Music by Michael Kooman

opening for a week, Covid got to the cast to put an end to it. We’re back! With a slightly different cast but just as much Produced by Jerri Wiseman talent and dedication as we ever had. Watching this show evolve from bunch or people sitting around a keyboard Directed bya R. Aaron Thompson (trying to hit the right notes) into a vibrant spectacle has been an absolute It didn’t happen in a vacuum. All of us December 9 - 23,joy. 2023 is smarter than any one of us, even me. Creatively, I’m a firm believer in the cast taking agency and ownership of their show. They’ve done so. It shows. I’m extremely proud of every one for the fantastic contributions they’ve made. The story itself is one in which many of us can identify, with themes such as Individuality, Self-Doubt, Friendship, and Acceptance. There were times in rehearsal where a scene emotionally and metaphorically punched me “right in the feels.” I hope it does the same for you. Many thanks to StageCoach Theatre for the opportunity and a BIG thank-you to the parents, partners and significant others for the rides, the snacks, and the support. R. Aaron Thompson
