A mixed-use building, designed to integrate market/retail and residential spaces with considerations for private and public areas.

GEMPOL has 26 residential units, with 2 of them being specially designed for the elderly located on the 1st floor, while the other units are located on the 3rd and 4th floors. In addition to residential units, GEMPOL also features 4 market units and 12 commercial retail units spread across the 1st and 2nd floors. The market units sell daily necessities, while the retail units offer a variety of food/ beverage options and provide services.
GEMPOL is designed with safety considerations, allowing firefighting vehicles to access the entire area in case of a fire emergency.
Reinforced concrete is used as the main structural material for GEMPOL. Brick materials are combined with hanging plants for the entire facade, and wooden accents are incorporated into the furniture.
The facade is constructed with arranged bricks to maximize the ventilation of fresh air and natural light. Hanging plants are also used to complement the existing atmosphere of Pasar Gempol, which features two Trembesi trees.

Bahbatu is a visitors' center located in Stone Garden Citatah, an exhibition site for studying the Stone Garden along with other supporting activities.

The entire area inside the Bahbatu Visitors' Center is designed with disability-friendly access, including level and barrier-free floors, along with ramps and dedicated toilets.
Wooden louvers not only has aesthetic value, but it also serves a functional purpose. The use of wooden louvers minimizes the entry of sunlight into the exhibition area, preventing discomfort. Wooden louvers is also used to separate the outdoor exhibition area.
Concrete is used as the main structure of Bahbatu Visitors’ Center because of the durability and strength. However, woods are also incorporated for louvers and floor coverings to provide a natural accent and blend with the surroundings.
The Bahbatu Visitors' Center consists of five masses with different functions: lobby + office, warehouse, exhibition space, souvenir shop, and cafe. These five masses are integrated due to their forms, appearing to embrace each other.
