welcome As we develop Stable View, we are trying new ideas, reworking some ideas, and leaving alone what seems to be working. In terms of new ideas, we’re developing a new program that has the title “Early Insights”! Early Insights will be the communication via which we will let riders know in advance of an EA or a HT. This includes the design of the Cross Country Course, what’s happening in terms of a Competitor Party, what we’re planning if it’s likely to rain, thunder or lightening, and if there are other issues that you should be aware of.

It’s always seemed to me to be a pity that riders arrive at Stable View, and other facilities and the first time they see the Cross Country Course is when they walk it. We have all of this information that for some reason is kept a secret until the last minute! In that regard, you might have seen from the first Early Insights that Mogie Bearden-Muller has reworked certain areas of the Oktoberfest course for this EA. I believe that this is the first time that three water features have been used for an EA.

Another new idea is to have an EA Competitors Party! As a result of around 50 people staying at Stable View and well over 100 Entries for the weekend, we thought that we would copy what we did at Oktoberfest! You are invited from 5 to 7pm on the 17th behind the Pavilion for a Graze & Gaze. We will be offering a Charcuterie board, wine, beer, and soda for the competitors.

Stable View has also developed a good reputation in terms of its response to the Coronavirus. We will have Health and Safety personnel riding around on a Stable View Golfcart. Their job is to check wrist bands and provide new ones for each day.
