Stable View Partnerships: Master Chevrolet
Master Chevrolet is a new Stable View sponsor. Those who have attended recent Stable View Horse Trials may have noticed their trucks throughout the property. At the Local Charities Horse Trial they sponsored two trucks in the Phillips Show Jumping Arena.
Master Chevrolet is a local, family-owned dealership that started as a service garage in 1934 called Master Auto Service. Wayne Morgan is the General Manager and is responsible for day-to-day operations. He said, “In 1937, we acquired the Pontiac franchise and began selling cars as well as servicing them. The GMC franchise was added in 1987 and Buick was added in 1999. In 2010, the Chevrolet brand was also added to our lineup, giving us a second location to serve our customers.”
In regards to the new sponsorship Wayne shared, “We just began our partnership with Stable View earlier this year and we are excited about the opportunity that it brings. We serve the same community and felt like it made perfect sense to partner with them. In addition to being part of the community for 88 years, we operate with a high standard of integrity. We truly believe in being transparent and honest with our customers. We are interested in long-term sales and service relationships with our customers, not one-time interactions.” Stable View looks forward to the continued sponsorship with Master Chevrolet. Wildlife Update from Mark Pavlosky Jr
Stable View has many Bluebird Boxes located around the property. Mark Pavlosky Jr. shared some updates on the boxes and birds. So far, it has been a strong season. Mark shared, “Of the 35 boxes installed, 34 currently have active nests. Three of those are being used by Chickadees, which is typical. The fist nestlings of each species hatched and were observed on April 15th.”
He has
Carolina Chickadees
boxes this Spring. However, Mark is still optimistic they haven’t abandoned it as they have used it consistently in years past. They will hopefully return soon.
Mark has also been monitoring the Red-Cockaded Wood Peckers (RCW). Mark shared, “None of the four clusters had eggs yet. Cluster 3, closest to the facilities, is showing the most promising activity so far with a well-prepped cavity that looks ready for nesting. I’m hopin to see signs of egg-laying there within the next week or two. As mentioned in last month’s report, Clusters 1 and 2 are still in the middle of group dynamic changes. That said, I’m still hopeful the females will pair up with a male early enough this season for breeding to occur.”
