Adult/15+ Workshop
£52
Aimed at those who have attended the Intro to Music Recording & Production Part 1 workshop or who already have some experience of recording and music technology, this follow-up session looks in more depth at microphone technique, effects and processors, synthesis, MIDI, mixing and mastering and the techniques you need to create great recordings in your own home or DIY studio. The workshop uses MAC computer and Logic Software, but in a way that applies generally across Digital Audio Workstations software such as Ableton, Cubase and Sonar. If you play an instrument, please bring it along for the afternoon recording session.
AN EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS BY ROBIN SOUTER
Robin Souter explores the enduring dialogue between the natural world and the human eye. The Eternal Thread brings together an expansive range of works – from the saltsprayed energy of his seascapes to the grounded quietude of his landscapes and still life paintings. Through mixed media and bold brushwork, this exhibition invites the viewer to find the common pulse in both the vast horizon and the smallest interior detail.
All works in the exhibition are available for sale.
