CELEBRATING YEARS 20

This year marks a major milestone for St. Anne’s-Belfield as we celebrate 20 years of the Wearable Arts Runway Show. For two decades, this remarkable tradition has showcased the creativity, ingenuity, and collaboration of our students, faculty, and community. What began as an inspired idea has grown into one of the School’s most beloved artistic events.

This celebration is especially meaningful because the show exists thanks to the dedication, vision, and countless hours contributed by both current and past faculty, staff, and volunteers. Their creativity, mentorship, and behind the scenes support have shaped the first twenty years of the Wearable Arts tradition and helped bring extraordinary designs to life on the runway.

As we mark this milestone, we celebrate not only the artistry on display today, but also the community that has nurtured and sustained this program for twenty years. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has helped make the Wearable Arts Runway Show such a vibrant and lasting part of St. Anne’s-Belfield.

SPECIAL THANKS TO

Student Participants

Annie Temmink

’07,

Artist in Residence

Annie Temmink ’07 is a professional artist and a UVA lecturer who has been working with runway students since 2019 She initially participated in runway for three years before graduating from St. Anne’s-Belfield in 2007. Runway was part of what inspired her current career: making elaborate headwear, giant creatures, and immersive installations. She loves supporting students as they navigate their own sense of self-expression and shine on the runway.
