Italian and Latin

Studying French will foster your global citizenship by exploring the diversity of the Francophone world via the study of literature, cultural media, cinema, and art.

Take introductory and intermediate courses in Italian and Latin.

French offers rigorous courses in oral communication, grammar, composition, translation, literature, and cultural studies.

Spanish and Latin American Studies Spanish is the first language of Spain, Mexico, most of South America, and a large part of the population of the United States and the Caribbean. It is becoming an increasingly important language in global trade and commerce.

An introductory course for beginners leads to advanced courses in grammar, conversation and composition, translation, and Spanish and Latin American literature.

Study in another part of the world Travel to QuĂŠbec, France, Spain, Chile, Cuba, or Italy on a short-term or semester-long travel study to practice your language skills and experience more of the culture you study in class.

After graduation By studying Romance Languages, you are preparing yourself to become a successful professional in all levels of education in Canada and abroad, the civil service and government, translation and interpretation, law, national and international business, national and international agencies/organizations, the RCMP, diplomacy, tourism, hospitality, journalism, communications, and publishing.
