ST. MARTIN'S 19 - NEWMAN 6

The Saints displayed great effort in their first game by beating the Greenies 19-6. They showed good potential on both offense and defense. Strong running and rugged line play were the key to the Greenies defeat.

ST. MARTIN'S 21 - CHALMETTE 7

The underdog Saints once again produced a good team effort in a hard-fought and injuryridden game. The Owls put up a good fight, but came up with too little too late.

ST. MARTIN'S 7 - SACRED HEART 40

The Saints suffered their first defeat at the hands of a big Jet team which was surprisingly fast. The team got good support despite cold weather.

ST. MARTIN'S 14 - RACELAND 34

The well-coached Cubs repeatedly got off long runs which hurt the Saints. Both Saint touchdowns were on long runs.

ST. MARTIN'S 7 - BURAS 0

The Saints upset the favored Wildcats with a beautiful co-ordinated team effort. They played a great defensive game holding the Wildcats consistently. A large crowd of students cheered the Saints as they defeated a much heavier Buras team.

ST. MARTIN'S 46 - MID-CITY 0

The Saints chalked up an easy victory in completely outclassing the Pioneers for their fourth consecutive win. Using substitutes freely, the Saints ran over Mid-City 46-0.

ST. MARTIN'S 20 - COUNTRY DAY 12

The Saints combined a good aerial attack and a rugged ground game to defeat the plucky Daisies. Strong line play was one of the deciding factors in the game.

ST. MARTIN'S 26 - RIDGEWOOD 12

The classy Saints put on a fine display of football before a large Homecoming crowd. In defeating the Eagles, the Saints turned in the finest record of any St. Martin's football team. They won six and lost two.
