The St. Martin’s Fund, you are investing in everything that makes SMES extraordinary: a diverse, motivated, and kind student body, exceptional faculty and staff, academic excellence and innovative teaching, and a well-rounded curriculum that includes arts and athletics. The SMF supports academics, performing and visual arts, athletics, community service, class trips, technology improvements, small class sizes and professional growth.
The St. Martin’s Fund is an annual component of the schools operating budget, comprising approximately five percent. This unrestricted support is used where most needed, such as class and field trips, clubs and intramurals.
As such, we rely on the generosity of all members of the SMES community to help bridge the gap between tuition revenue income and the full cost of a SMES education for each student.
We humbly ask every family to participate as we aim for 100% parent participation.

The St. Martin’s Fund is the annual giving program and the number one fundraising priority, designed to bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of running our school. Donations are invested to directly support student needs from the care of our community to the care of our physical campus. And like most independent schools, St. Martin’s relies on support of the annual fund from our community to sustain and enhance our excellent programs while advancing the mission of our school.

What you need to know
What is the St. Martin’s Fund?
Providing the foundation for all other fundraising at SMES, the SMF runs every year from July 1 to June 30.
What is a pledge, and when should I make it?
A pledge is a commitment to make a gift. By letting us know in the fall that we can count on your support this year, we can budget accordingly and ensure that all of our programs and activities are fully funded. Pledges can be paid any time before the end of our fiscal year on June 30, 2023.

We offer flexible payment options to allow you to structure your giving however it works best for your family. Consider a monthly or quarterly recurring gift. Stocks and securities are gratefully accepted.
