NEWS YOU CAN USE Charge Conference

Today • 12:30PM • Parlor All members and constituents of St. Luke’s are invited to attend. Our district superintendent, Dr. Bert Kite, will preside as we conduct official business of St. Luke's, celebrate our year in ministry, and stay connected to the larger events of our Indiana United Methodist conference.

Poinsettia Orders

To order poinsettias for the Sanctuary in memory or honor of a loved one, stop by the Welcome Center or the church office to fill out an order card and make a $10 donation. You may also order and pay at www.stlukesumc.com. Plants may be picked up following the 11PM Christmas Eve service. Orders received before Tuesday, December 17, will have names included in the Poinsettia Remembrance list, which will be available either on our website to download and easily share with others, or at the Welcome Center for those who wish to have a printed copy.

Collections for Fletcher Place

Collection of gifts for the Fletcher Place Christmas Shopping program will take place through Dec 2. Gifts can be placed in the two marked wooden bins in the West Passage. Gifts must be new and unwrapped. Gift ideas include household items, toys and children’s clothing newborn to teen sizes.

2014 Stewardship Campaign

Our Stewardship Commission will begin making follow-up phone calls this week to previous pledgers and new members who have not yet had an opportunity to return their card. If you’d prefer not to receive a phone call, please submit a Pledge Card this morning. Cards are available in the pews, at the Welcome Center and main office, and at www.stlukesumc.com. St. Luke’s is blessed by the generosity of this congregation. Thank you!

Angel Tree

Once again, St. Luke’s generosity is on display in a visible way. All the ornaments on the Angel Tree in the Narthex represent a family or child adopted by our congregation this Christmas. We still have names of individuals in need of sponsors as well as a need to provide “home essential baskets” to our families. You can make a monetary donation by indicating “Angel Tree” on the memo line or envelope. Or, you can adopt a person, volunteer, or make a financial donation online at www.stlukesumc.com. If you’ve already bought and wrapped your presents, you may leave them at the table in the Narthex this morning and the next two Sundays.
