Join us as we welcome guest preacher Dr. Stan Copeland, one of our consultants with Church Difference Makers. Raised in East Texas, Stan has served urban congregations in the hearts of Houston and Dallas, most recently retiring in 2025 from Lovers Lane UMC in Dallas where he served 27 years. Stan has been a leading advocate for greater inclusion in the UMC, and he has been a missional leader in Africa, Central America, and Russia. Let’s give him a warm welcome that Sunday!

Starting Point is a 30-minute orientation to St. Luke’s. You’ll meet others who are new and leave with a next step to help you find your place within the church. This is a great way to become familiar with who we are and how we live out our faith. No registration is needed for the in-person classes.

SERVE DURING LENT MOVE-IN KITS FOR OUR NEIGHBORS
Through our Lent focus on serving, we are able to donate 75 move-in kits for newly housed individuals through Streets to Home. Move-in kits help those newly housed through the City’s Streets to Home initiaitve. You can still participate as a group or family or as an individual! We believe that God created all of us on purpose and for a purpose to be difference-makers in the world by using our unique gifts to impact others. Our days of service will take place on Friday, April 24, at Midtown and Saturday, April 25, at our North Indy Campus and various locations throughout the city for I Love My City 2026. Leading up to the event, we’ll be collecting items to support vulnerable youth in our community. Plus, we’re bringing back the blood drive.
