Join us for our annual Day of Service, where we spread out all over the city to serve our neighbors. When we open our hearts and our hands to meet the needs of our city, we are living the Gospel. In this way, serving is not separate from our worship, it is an expression of it. From bundling diapers to deep cleaning at the food pantry, from giving blood to digging in the dirt, from writing encouraging notes to packing snack bags, there is an opportunity for every age, ability, and interest. STREETS TO HOME MOVE-IN KITS
Streets to Home is a collaborative, city-wide initiative that works through partnerships in housing and supportive services to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. Our church-wide focus on serving during the Lent season was providing Move-In Kits for neighbors moving off the streets and into homes. Today we are celebrating that we received items and money to donate 100 move-in kits! Thank you St. Luke’s for this outpouring of generosity for our community! COMMUNITY ORGANIZING 101

Uncertain times can lead us to feeling overwhelmed and powerless to make change. Perhaps Community Organizing is just the antidote you’re looking for! Following the successful Indy Action Coalition public action last month, we are offering a 5-week class where you will learn the philosophy and methodology behind grass-roots organizing. In Community Organizing 101, you will meet like-minded people, find your voice, and reclaim the collective power that is the cornerstone of our democracy. This summer, St. Luke’s Student Ministry has something for everyone! Incoming 5th & 6th graders can kick off the season at Middle School Mayhem 2026: Embark (June 15–18), a cruise-themed week of faith, fun, and community service.
