PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN We provide childcare and Sunday School for newborns through 4thgrade children. Register all children in the East Passage. Activity kits are at the Welcome Center for children who remain in worship. Room 126 is equipped for nursing moms, including live streaming of worship.

YOUNG ADULTS Join us for coffee & cookies outside Robertson Chapel following the 9:30 & 11AM services.

Spiritual Life Center Refugees from around the world are living within a mile of St. Luke’s. Our own staff videographer, Cam Hershberger, has created a 15 minute film about his neighbors who are Syrian refugees. Two Butler professors have created a film about First Baptist Church’s experience with Burmese refugees. Join us for the showing of both films!

C.S.LEWIS: LIFE AND LEGACY | October 23 • 6 – 8PM • Parlor Dr. Michael Gehring will be here for a dialogue about Lewis and his recent book, The Oxbridge Evangelist: Motivations, Practices, and Legacy of C.S.Lewis. SERVE… UMW FOOD DRIVE This semi-annual food drive supports local food pantries! Pick up a grocery bag in the West Passage and fill it with items listed. Bags can be returned to the church before October 31 and placed in the wooden bins in the West Passage. PUMPKIN FUNDRAISER | October • Front parking lot It’s time to buy your great pumpkin! A variety of pumpkins and gourds are available as a fundraiser for youth mission trips. Consider buying your fall decorations where your money is going to a great cause!

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY | October 12 – November 18 Join the effort to build a new home for Kinyatta and her three children in the Crooked Creek area. Shifts available Friday – Sunday, starting October 21. Sign up today in the West Passage and be sure to leave your handprint on an OSB board.

FALL FESTIVAL | October 29 • 5 – 7PM Volunteer for the most fun event of the year! Looking for 40 trunk-or-treat cars, greeters, set-up/tear-down volunteers and bags of wrapped candy. Sign up at stlukesumc.com. Or come and enjoy a safe, non-scary trick-or-treating in the back parking lot. Carnival games and other free activities, and a fundraiser pizza dinner for the pre-school for only $5!

HURRICANE RELIEF TRIP TO TEXAS | December 2 – 9 We will be serving with United Methodist Temple, in Port Arthur. Work will include gutting homes, removing carpet and renovating homes so families may return. Cooks are needed as well. Contact Al Dalton at aldalton1@gmail.com if interested.
