Dear KU Catholics: Thank you for taking the time to review this annual report of stewardship for the mission entrusted to all of us at KU. I am increasingly humbled by the opportunity to direct the Center, and even more so by your support. In the following pages you will find our heart, our vision, our strategy, our values, our culture and our results! This chapter in KU Catholic history was unlike any before it, with the COVID pandemic hanging over the entire academic year. I am pleased with how we deployed resources to stay on mission, and the fruit we were able to bear. I hope you too are pleased with this vintage of KU Catholics! I welcome your input, feedback and questions, as I want to be a great steward of your trust and transparent in all that we do at St. Lawrence. Students attend Open Mic Night where authentic trust, play, and vulnerability are key pieces of our student culture. We want to provide an atmosphere of rest and relief to ANYONE who walks through our doors.

Students are contributing/serving in the life of the Church, giving their time and resources towards a larger good and willing to sacrifice their needs and wants for the sake of the world around them.
Students’ way of life draws others to themselves and has an infectious, apostolic quality about it. Those who come in contact with someone living a great story come to know Jesus because of the contagious spirit that has been cultivated in them.

“I began leading a bible study in my sorority my senior year of college, and while it was out of my comfort zone, it was one of the most fulfilling parts of my senior year. My small “yes” for Christ led to a beautiful group of women coming together and pursuing holiness with one another.”
“One of my neighbors, who is now a good friend, told me that I have inspired him as a Catholic. He sees me as I see many Catholic leaders in my life — people living virtue even when the world comes out against it. My neighbor has since started coming to mass with me and we’ve started to talk about God consistently.”
