St. Gregory's Episcopal Church
Transforming Hearts and Community Through Jesus' Love

Dear Beloved Members of St Gregory's,
As we stand at the threshold of a new chapter in our journey together, my heart overflows with gratitude and anticipation This past year has been a time of remarkable transformation and renewal for St Gregory's Celebrating our 70th anniversary has given us the opportunity to reflect on our rich history and the profound ways we have been blessed, and to look at the days ahead filled with unlimited possibilities
Under the grace of God and with the dedication of our incredible community, we have completed the magnificent renovation of our sanctuary and campus. As we enter our 2025 Stewardship season, we are poised for a bright future filled with new opportunities for growth, connection, outreach, and deeper community engagement. St. Gregory’s is thriving, and we are a beacon of hope and faith in Boca Raton. God is truly good.

As we prepare for our annual Stewardship Campaign, I invite you to join me in prayer about the journey we share as a congregation at St Gregory’s our spiritual home We are here as a means of support as we navigate the ups and downs of our lives. It is a walk of love that we undertake with one another. This is what it means to be in community with each other – this is what walking in love looks like.
Our theme for this year ’ s Stewardship campaign, "Walk in Love," beautifully encapsulates our mission of Transforming Hearts and Community Through Jesus' Love. It is a call to action, inviting each of us to embody Christ's love in every aspect of our lives.
As we embrace our future, I invite you to join us on this sacred journey. Let us continue to walk in Christ’s love, intentionally making a difference where we can. I ask you to prayerfully consider your stewardship pledge for 2025. Your generosity and commitment to St. Gregory’s are what make our vibrant ministries possible and allow us to share Christ’s love both near and far. God bless you.

With deepest gratitude and blessings, w J Sherman Rector, St Gregory's Episcopal Church
Worship and Spiritual Growth
Taking It to the Next Level
Affirming our core commitment to spiritual growth, St Gregory’s remains deeply rooted in a dynamic life with God in Christ with worship that moves hearts, shapes minds, strengthens wills and renews spirits Complementing glorious worship, we offer substantive opportunities to foster deeper relationships with God and one another through classes, retreats, lectures, and joyous community life.
Children, Youth, Young Adults and Families: Impacting the Next Generation
We treasure the gift of our children, youth, young adults, and their families. The greatest gift that we can give to the next generation is the boundless love of God in Jesus Christ. Beginning with our Mommy and Me (Dads, too!), our commitment to nurturing children is boundless. Through Sunday School classes, youth ministry gatherings, children’s choristers, acolytes, Confirmation classes, and college and young adult ministry, St. Gregory’s is nurturing faith, hope, and love in the next generation
Pastoral Care:
Caring and Compassion Through the Love of Jesus
We believe every human being is created in God’s image We seek to love everyone No exceptions We embody this love in our congregation through such ministries as clergy visitations, Stephen Ministry, the Order of St Luke healing ministry, the prayers of the Daughters of the King, and our Lay Eucharistic Visitors We are a community of disciples that care for one another with the abundant compassion of Christ
Outreach:
Where the Love of Christ extends to Boca and beyond!
At St. Gregory's, with God's grace, we sincerely strive to love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. In serving meals daily to those in need with Meals with Meaning, supporting homeless families in transition through Family Promise, educating and feeding children in Bondeau, Haiti, and supporting access to educatin for children in Madagascar, St. Gregory's doesn't just talk about love, we walk in love!
The power of the Holy Spirit and your generous giving makes this happen! Thank you!!

St Gregory’s makes an impactful difference to my family and me because of our sincere welcoming of everyone. We are abundant in the diversity of our congregation and ideas. We offer meaningful and rewarding ministries that include Meals with Meaning (supporting the most vulnerable in our community), Healing, Pastoral Care, and Music to just name a few. My family and I are spiritually fulfilled being members of St. Gregory’s!

Our hearts and doors are not just open to our beloved members we open them to our beloved wider community, too. From recovery groups, Scouts, art classes, summer reading skills programs, and more, St. Gregory’s shares our space and resources to bless our neighbors near and far.
Serving over 300 guests each week, Meals with Meaning exemplifies our commitment to Walk in Love by providing meals, essential items, and spiritual enrichment to the most vulnerable. We now include home meal deliveries for seniors

Extending far beyond Boca, St Gregory’s capacity to love and serve reaches communities like Bondeau, Haiti, and the Diocese of Toliara, Madagascar We continually build lasting, sustainable partnerships with the local community and with groups such as Food for the Poor, the Order of St John, Palm Beach County Food Bank, B'nai Torah Congregation Hands on Tzedakah, and other companion organizations.

St Gregory’s demonstrates an unwavering commitment to building meaningful relationships across diverse faith traditions. Our energetic and faithful participation in BRICA (Boca Raton Interfaith Clergy Association) and BRIYA (Boca Raton Interfaith Youth Association) exemplifies our pledge to maintain and expand these relationships.

St. Gregory’s is like a second home to our family. My kids have developed a solid spiritual foundation by participating in the youth programs and feel strong personal connections with youth program leaders. They feel supported and loved by St. Gregory’s.
