IT TAKES CONTROL

To Offer Our Anglers Control

Mastery suggests there’s no more room to grow or improve. Control, however, is something different; it holds open a path towards perfection.

Control comes from practice and experience, but also from choosing rods that give you a head start. It’s an edge we call the upper hand, and it comes from meticulous engineering, precise craftsmanship, rigorous testing, excellent customer service, and a passion that matches your own.

St. Croix Rod exercises complete control over design and manufacturing so anglers experience greater success on the water. We accomplish this through firsthand ownership and operation of the two most advanced fishing-rod factories in the world – St. Croix North in Park Falls, Wisconsin, and St. Croix South in Fresnillo, Mexico. Here – every day – our team members are empowered with the best materials, equipment, and technologies to produce the Best Rods on Earth – rods that heighten the fishing experience by increasing angler control and delivering on the key performance variables of accuracy, power, durability, sensitivity, balance, and value.

Regardless of where any St. Croix rod is built, it represents our consistent pursuit of perfection. Best Rods on Earth, you see, has never been a marketing slogan; it’s a standard we set for ourselves – one that’s followed from project conception to the time a rod reaches your hands, as well anytime thereafter when service may be required.

Better Angling By Design

Based on anthropometric data, TRIGON handle design recognizes that the human hand does not form a circle when closed. Instead, TRIGON features a curved, triangular profile with a rounded inner apex to promote greater handto-blank alignment for dramatically improved control, along with a flattened top curve for greater hand comfort and reduced fatigue. The results are a more comfortable grip, so anglers can fish longer while exercising increased control to maximize power and accuracy.
