I have been able to be a part of an incredibly supportive and fun team. No matter how poorly our season might have been going, every teammate and coach still brought a positive attitude with them. With this positivity I have been able to be more confident at bat or with starting a new position and learning to bunt senior year.
After I graduate I plan to...?
I plan to go on to study Architecture at the University of Virginia! I have already joked with a Former Saints Softball Player (Now Hoo) about starting a Saints team at UVA, so we will see if that happens! I am so grateful to have been surrounded by such a happy and supportive team. I can't wait to see what everyone goes on to do, especially Lizzy, Sarah, and Danielle! I am also very thankful for the encouragement of our coaches, Coach Heasley, Coach O, Coach Sidle, and Coach K, to help us bring our best selves to practice and give our all!

I have accomplished creating a close special bond with my softball teammates, which has fostered many amazing friendships. Playing softball has been one of my favorite activities at SSSAS and I learned something new every day from our coaches. I am so grateful to have had this experience surrounded by such an encouraging team.
After I graduate I plan to...?
I plan to join a club softball team! Although I will not be committing to college for softball, I want to continue my love for playing. This sport has truly made me grow into a better person, teaching me about leadership, patience, perseverance, and confidence. I will remember all the laughs I had with my team and will miss them all so much.

I think that I was able to accomplish my goal of improving my team communication skills, and teamwork while playing softball at SSSAS. As a team in the past few years, we were able to work together and keep a good mindset going into games, even though we thought the odds were against us.
After I graduate I plan to...?
I knew that I didn’t want to commit for softball, but I am still thinking about playing on a club team in the future. I really enjoy the sport, and don’t want to give it up completely, but I think it would take up too much of my time in college if I committed to play for a school. I will remember my coaches and the other players on the team. We are absolutely a family, and are always supporting one another.

After I graduate I will be attending Clemson University. I plan to look into club sports and hopefully continue playing softball. I will remember the close relationships and how excited I was before each game and practice to be able to play with such an amazing group of people.

Danielle, across four years, I have seen your leadership through your communication skills as well as the ability to advocate for yourself and your team. Communicating for yourself and others, will enable you to thrive well beyond your academic and career goals. I cannot emphasize enough how important these skills are and how they will help you along your journey. I cannot wait to see where you end up!

Lily, across four years, I have seen your leadership through your ability to take any opportunity in stride. You consistently find opportunities to grow yourself, support your team, and lead by example. The ability to seek opportunity is something that cannot be coached and it has been exciting to experience. I cannot wait to see what opportunities are in store for you!
