ELLIE FORESMAN

During my time here at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes...

I have learned how to be a good teammate and to work well with people. This team is so special to me, and the life lessons it gives you will be taken with me. The way that our team can bond and have that connection after a five- day trip is something that many teams do not have. My personal goal was to play in college and this team made that possible. Every season the seniors pick a word to take in through the season, and the teams ability to connect and compete is really special.

After I graduate I plan to...?

I will be attending Mercer University to play Lacrosse. I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to play in the Saints Lacrosse program since Middle School. The lessons that this program have taught me will be taken with me when I’m older. Having an amazing coaching staff throughout those years has helped me improve on my game so much. I would have never been able to do what I am today without Coach Jenkins and I’m extremely grateful to have been able to be coached by her.

During my time here at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes...

I have learned and grown so much thanks to my coaches and all of my teammates. In the past two seasons I have tried to lead by example and be someone the underclassmen can look up to for support and encouragement, and while I definitely haven’t been perfect, I hope I have accomplished that. I have become close friends with freshmen both last year and this year, and I am so grateful for those friendships. I expect they will continue beyond graduation.

After I graduate I plan to...?

After I graduate, I plan to keep working hard and improving everyday while playing at Cornell. Because of everything I have learned at SSSAS from my coaches and teachers, I like to think I am prepared to be successful at a new place around new people. I am so excited to keep learning but I am also so grateful for all the people around me at SSSAS that have helped me grow.

During my time here at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes...

I have done well at holding myself and my team to a very high standard of excellence throughout my high school career. It has taught me the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and providing consistent leadership.

After I graduate I plan to...?

I plan to take all of the valuable lessons I have learned here at SSSAS from the incredible coaching staff and apply them on the field at UVA next year. My aspiration is to perform well in a highly competitive environment, and help my new team achieve new heights.

MADI SANDY

During my time here at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes...

I have accomplished being able to compete at a high level and develop my lacrosse game. I have also grown as a person and can’t wait to see what I accomplish in the future.

After I graduate I plan to...?

I plan to play Lacrosse at Howard University.

KATE SNYDER

During

my time here at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes...

I have contributed to three great seasons of Varsity girls lacrosse. My sophomore year, I enjoyed playing on the team with upperclassmen who set an example of what Saints lacrosse is all about. I was a game-changer against teams such as Good Counsel and Georgetown Visitation. We won the ISL because of our great team chemistry and coaching. My knowledge of the game has expanded greatly because of our coaching staff, in particular Coach Jenkins and the goalie coaches. My junior year, I took more of a leadership role within the defense. I started every game and made the game-winning save against Georgetown Visitation in the ISL semifinal game. I have developed into more of a leader, on and off the field. As a senior, I am proud of what we have accomplished this season, and excited to see where the postseason will take us!

After I graduate I plan to...?

After I graduate, I plan to play lacrosse at the University of Chicago. I am excited to join the team next year and play for Coach Kate Robinson. The thing I will miss the most about Saints lacrosse is the people. We have really bonded as a team this year, from pre-season to Florida to post-season games.
