INSPIRED LIVING AT SUMMERFIELD
SUMMERFIELD, FL
Inspired Living at Summerfield is a 36,055 SF assisted living memory care facility including 58 resident rooms, dining rooms, activity areas, a full-service commercial kitchen, administrative offices, and memory garden walk paths. The design is based upon 100% of the residents who are dependent upon assisted living care due to varying degrees of memory ailments.
The project required special attention to finish details, elimination of door and shower thresholds, lighting levels, and finish colors. Residents afflicted by Alzheimer’s disease and similar ailments view and process their surroundings in a different manner than the average adult. SSR is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection services.

PLYMOUTH HARBOR
SARASOTA, FL
Set in a captivating environment, surrounded by the blue waters of the Gulf Coast, Plymouth Harbor at Sarasota Bay is a Senior Living Community who strives to place wellness at the heart of their resident culture. The campus was ingeniously designed to offer a wide variety of customized residential apartments - large spacious one bedrooms to penthouse suites - featuring 18 different floor plans to suit the evolving lifestyles of our residents. The three-story building over parking includes 31 assisted-living units, 30 memory-care residences, and 12 independent-living apartments.

THE VILLAGES AT GERMANTOWN
GERMANTOWN, TN
SSR is working with the Village at Germantown, a senior living community, to expand their current campus. SSR will be adding a new 60,000 SF, four-story independent living wing with 32 apartments — a mix of one, two, and three bedroom units as well as a new office for the Village’s marketing department.
The new building will connect to two existing apartment wings, creating an expansive internal courtyard and providing residents with a continuous enclosed walkway to dining and recreation functions. The new wing will also include 39 new on-grade covered parking spaces. Construction will begin in the spring of 2016. SSR is also designing several additions and alterations to The Village’s public spaces. After completing a dining room expansion in 2015, we are now working on alterations to the existing clinic and an expansion of the existing bar and café. New spaces to be added include a garage and maintenance shop, a two-story fitness wing, and an activity room which will house multiple functions such as meetings, crafts, and chapel. Construction began in 2016.

THE DELANEY AT PARKWAY LANES
KATY, TX
The facility consists of four buildings, totaling 220,000 SF. The complex includes an independent living wing, which is an age restricted apartment complex with 120 units. The 130,000 SF independent living wing is four stories. The licensed portion of the facility includes a 40,000 SF, 61-bed assisted living wing and a 19,000 SF, 36-bed memory care unit. The facility has a commons area that serves the common functions for both the assisted living and independent living. The commons has a full service kitchen, independent living dining facility, assisted living dining facility, main utility rooms, and common offices for the facility.
This project was designed to meet all regulations of the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (TDADS).

FREEDOM POINTE
THE VILLAGES,
FL
The Villages Independent Living facility is a 251-bed, 350,000 SF independent living facility in The Villages, Florida. The facility was designed to provide totally independent living in a unique condominium atmosphere with the benefits of a continuing care retirement community when needed. The scope include mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design. Construction was completed in 2009 at a cost of $70 million.

THE VILLAGES, FL
This project consisted of a 100-bed skilled nursing building, 60-bed memory care building, 40-bed assisted living building, and a common shared service building housing all ancillary support spaces for the three primary buildings. The project was over 150,000 SF of total construction. SSR provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, and low voltage design.
