FROM THE MAYOR
Holiday season kicks off My fellow Riverview residents, We hope you survived the Thanksgiving holiday without gaining too much weight and that you were able to enjoy ANDREW SWIFT family and friends from near and far. The past few weeks have been very busy planning for the Mayor’s Gala and our Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Both events were very successful and included great food, fun, and entertainment. The Holiday Season kicked off with the second Mayor’s Gala and a near sell-out crowd. And our Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony was likely our most popular yet with an estimated 4,000 people having some great family fun. The ole man himself, Mr. Santa Claus, was there to receive a key to the city and provide the countdown to lighting the Christmas tree. The evening culminated with an awesome display of fireworks that beautifully lit up the chilly winter night sky. These holiday season events were attended and sponsored by several city businesses who are committed to our city through the services they provide to the city and our residents. You’ll find a list of those businesses in another article in this paper. I would like to take this opportunity to provide you with accurate information about a story that appeared in the news about lead in the City of Riverview’s water. Let me say this first to put your mind at ease, “There is no lead in the City of Riverview’s water supply.” The city gets its water from the Great Lakes Water Authority, which is amongst the best in the country and is tested regularly. The issue is that there are older homes in the city that have lead lines, either in the home, or the service line from the water main to the stop-box (shutoff) and then to the home. From these pipes, lead can leach into the water in the home. Our water is tested monthly, quarterly, yearly, and every 5 years for different things. To answer this question, “How often is water tested for lead?” The fact is that we are required to test 30 random homes per year for lead every summer from July 1st to September 30th. This year testing revealed that there were 4 homes that encountered an exceedance of 15ppb (parts per billion) limit allowed by the State of Michigan. These four homes tested at 16ppb. When that exceedance is discovered, the city is required by law to publish a press release
within 24 hours. Hence, that story appeared on the news. There wasn’t time legally to put this information into print in this or any other printed media. To be totally transparent, we did respond to a reporter who asked some great questions. We provided more information that they didn’t pass on to the viewers of the news report. The last time the city experienced an exceedance was back in the 1990’s. We have 65 known lead service lines and 35 unknown ones if they are lead or not. The City of Riverview does have a service line replacement program (from water main to stop-box). This year alone we have replaced 25 lead service lines, and from 2021-2024, we have replaced a total of 51. It should be noted that the resident is responsible for the lead line from the stop-box to the home in addition to the pipes inside the home. But it is also the city’s responsibility to know what material is on the resident’s side of the stop-box. If you have any questions or concerns about your water and is it safe to drink or bathe in, please give the DPW a call at 734-281-4270. They will be happy to help you out. This time of year, is always a busy one for the myriad civic and community groups. The Riverview Goodfellows are in full swing in ensuring that no child goes without a Christmas. Several Goodfellows raised funds for the group by selling the popular satirical publication, The Riverview Razzberry. If you’re looking to donate or volunteer to help you can email Goodfellow President and School Superintendent Mr. JJ Hatzl at jhatzl@riverviewschools.com. Another very active civic group are the Kiwanis of Riverview. The club recently provided 10 complete Thanksgiving meals to Riverview families. This effort took several clubs working together to accomplish the shopping, packing, and delivery. Working as one team with the Kiwanis, were the Key Clubs from Gabriel Richard Catholic High School and Riverview Community High School. Also pitching in were members of the newly formed Riverview Rotary, the Southgate Rotary, and Pastor Jeff McNally Jr. from Grace Point Church. Some lesser know groups are the Riverview Knights of Columbus and the Crafters Group at St. Cyprian Parish. The Knights recently sponsored their always popular Trivia Knight to raise funds for

Riverview welcomes new elementary principal
RCSD wants to give a big Pirate welcome to the newest member of the administrative team, Mr. Erik Browe. Erik was named the new principal at Memorial Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year and comes to the position with 16 years of experience in education. Mr. Browe earned his Bachelor’s in education from Western Michigan University and his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Madonna University. Erik grew up in Southgate and comes to Riverview from Melvindale where he served as an Assistant Principal and prior to that was a Special Education Teacher in Allen Park. He also has experience coaching football and basketball. Mr. Browe is excited to be part of the community and looks forward to continuing the great traditions at Memorial Elementary. He is dedicated to fostering a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for all students. Erik looks forward to promoting both the educational and extracurricular activities for his students. So far, some highlights have been the events that bring together families, friends, and neighbors. Memorial hosted a huge Trunk or Treat event that was a resounding success! It was wonderful to see so many excited students, decked out in their creative costumes, enjoying a fun-filled evening. The turnout was impressive, and the energy was infectious. The entire school also recently celebrated “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” on November 26th with food, fun, a parade, and a tremendous spirit of gratitude. Welcome to Riverview, Mr. Browe!

Estate Planning 101 Which plan do you need?
Time to clear up the confusion about Estate Planning ... The following definitions lack legal precision, but makes it easier to get a clear picture of what may be needed in your case. ■ Will – letter of intent of where you want your personal property to go – or not go. ■ Living Will – Documents your wishes during your final days including final healthcare choices and possibly your burial wishes. ■ Trust – This is a “company” that you start, and you become the CEO, “Trustee” and “Settlor.” The company outlives you, but continues to manage your assets as if you were alive by the successor CEO – whom you designate. ■ Power of Attorney – Financial and Healthcare – you need both – the first so someone can pay your bills, the second, sometimes called a Patient Advocate, designates someone to make “hallway at the hospital” decisions to take the stress off the family. ■ Ladybird Deed – probably the best thing that has happened to owning a home. I love these deeds – you grant yourself a life estate – in your own property - but retain the power to sell or borrow against the property. If you do not sell before you pass, this “springs” the house out of your estate, and your heirs have instant ownership, subject to any mortgage or taxes owed or similar. Again, this is just a general description of the more popular terms – no one choice is a “silver bullet” but depending on how your estate gets planned out you can expedite a clean and clear process for the assets you worked a lifetime to save. Why wouldn’t you want to do that? Stop by or call and make an appointment and I’ll tell you what you’re going to need to do this right. To my numerous former clients – thank you for allowing me to draft your estate plan!

n a heartwarming tribute to local veterans, Riverview Mayor Andy Swift recently visited Michigan House Senior Living and The Bellaire Senior Living to honor their veteran residents. Gabriella Birkner, Executive Director at both facilities, extended the invitation to the mayor, continuing a cherished tradition of recognizing those who served our nation. Typically, the ceremony would take place in the lunchroom, where Mayor Swift would present "Certificates of Appreciation" to the veterans in a group setting. However, this year’s ceremony took a more personal and thoughtful approach. With many veterans finding it harder to move around, Mayor Swift agreed to meet each honoree in their own rooms. “It may take a little longer, but they certainly deserve that we come to them,” said Mayor Swift. “It was an absolute honor and privilege to recognize a few of the Riverview heroes amongst us. Each veteran had their own unique story that would make anyone proud.” The visits provided an opportunity to connect on a deeper level, allowing the mayor to hear firsthand accounts of their service and share heartfelt moments of gratitude. The mayor said he was honored to listen to Marine
Veteran Henry Richie play his version of the United States Marines Hymn on his harmonica. The event was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by these men and women and the importance of honoring their contributions, even as they age. Gabriella Birkner expressed her appreciation for the mayor’s willingness to adapt to the needs of the veterans, saying, “It’s wonderful to see our community leaders take the time to make our veterans feel truly valued and appreciated.” The Michigan House and The Bellaire Senior Living have long been pillars of support for Riverview’s seniors, and this event underscored their dedication to creating a nurturing and respectful environment for all residents. As we reflect on this occasion, let us all take a moment to thank the veterans in our lives and remember their service. And if you know a veteran residing at Michigan House or The Bellaire, don’t hesitate to stop by and share your gratitude. To Mayor Swift, Gabriella Birkner, and the staff of Michigan House and The Bellaire: thank you for reminding us of all of the importance of community, honor, and gratitude. Together, you’ve made Riverview a better place for our heroes to call home.

On Saturday, November 23rd, Riverview was a shining example of community spirit as local organizations joined forces to spread the holiday cheer to families in need. Led by the Kiwanis Club of Riverview, this heartwarming effort was supported by the newly formed Riverview Rotary Club, the Southgate Rotary, and two enthusiastic Kiwanissponsored Key Clubs from Gabriel Richard Catholic High School and Riverview Community High School. Together, they packaged food for 10 complete Thanksgiving dinners at Seitz Middle School. This meaningful partnership highlighted the incredible power of collaboration. Grace Point Church and Pastor Jeff McNally Jr. donated turkeys for each of the 10 families, while Mr. Will Evans of the Riverview Register added a festive touch by gifting a Christmas wreath to one of the families. Deanna Boone of Huntington Bank made a generous $500 donation toward the food purchases, ensuring every box was filled with love and care. The response from the community
was overwhelming, with a record number of volunteers pitching in. This outpouring of support demonstrated the deep compassion and commitment Riverview residents have for their neighbors in need. For over 20 years, the Kiwanis Club of Riverview has faithfully provided meals to 10 families each Easter and Thanksgiving. The process begins with shopping for groceries at Meijer in Woodhaven, where staff helps prepare the packages for pickup. Once the food is delivered to Seitz Middle School, it is sorted and carefully repacked by the dedicated Key Club students and their families. Finally, Kiwanis and Rotary members personally deliver the meals to the families’ homes. The families selected by Riverview Community Schools express immense gratitude for this thoughtful gesture, and those involved in the effort feel a deep sense of satisfaction in giving back. Each year, this tradition grows stronger, underscoring the spirit of generosity and volunteerism that makes Riverview such a special place to call home.

DCFCU’s Distinctly Downriver: a picturesque success
On November 14th, Downriver Community Federal Credit Union hosted its 1st Annual “Distinctly Downriver: A Photo Exhibit” event, showcasing the top 24 photos submitted to the Downriver Community Photo Contest. The exhibit featured stunning images that highlighted the beauty and character of the Downriver area, including local landmarks, cityscapes, seasonal scenes, and nature from Wayne and Monroe counties. The photo contest encouraged photographers to capture what makes Downriver unique, with categories including landmarks, “Welcome” signs, landscapes, and other distinctive scenes from the community. Participants were urged to explore beyond the usual riverfront images and capture a broader range of locations from the surrounding areas to stand out in the competition. At the event, the winners of the photo contest were announced: Gerald Thomas took first place, Adam Blake earned second, and Christopher Stearns claimed third.
In addition to the exhibit, attendees were the first to receive the 2025 Downriver Community Calendar, which features the top 12 photos from the contest. The calendar is available for free, while supplies last, at the Southgate branch located at 15261 Trenton Rd. The event was a great success, drawing attention to the region’s vibrant and diverse landscapes while giving local photographers the chance to share their work with the community. The 9th edition of the Downriver Community Calendar is a beautiful tribute to the area, and a wonderful keepsake for anyone who appreciates the local scenery.

Riverview Mayor’s Gala celebrates community spirit and generosity The City of Riverview recently hosted its second Mayor’s Gala, an event designed to kick off the holiday season with a focus on community togetherness and appreciation. Held at Young Patriots’ Park, the gala has become a key part of Mayor Andy Swift’s mission to enhance the city’s event offerings at no cost to taxpayers. “We are always looking for ways to highlight our premier park,” said Mayor Swift. “The goal is to create new and engaging events that cost the city little or nothing.” The gala, made possible through the generosity of numerous sponsors, was priced at an affordable $30 per ticket, helping nearly all 200 available tickets sell out in just a few weeks. Mayor Swift expressed deep gratitude to the event sponsors, whose support covered the costs and allowed residents to enjoy a festive evening at a reasonable price. The night began with Mayor Swift addressing the crowd and acknowledging the sponsors who made the event possible. “Tonight’s celebration of community, great food, and togetherness would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors,” he said. “Your contributions are a testament to the compassion and kindness that define Riverview.” Although the weather was a little chilly, the large, heated tent provided the ability to enjoy a
delicious buffet-style dinner catered by One-Nine of Riverview. The menu featured mouthwatering options like chicken Francese, braised beef, roasted redskin potatoes with parmesan and herbs, green bean almondine, penne alla vodka, and a fresh tossed salad. Desserts were provided by A Serendipity and Cakery, and an open bar was available to complete the evening. The entertainment for the evening was equally memorable. Local favorite Steve Washburn set the tone with acoustic guitar performances during dinner, while the high-energy band Stiletto to Fire kept the crowd dancing well into the night with their lively repertoire. Mayor Swift emphasized the importance of fostering strong relationships with local businesses,
stating, “Building relationships with Riverview businesses benefits not just the businesses but the entire community.” The gala was a shining example of collaboration, with contributions from a diverse group of sponsors, including: W.F. Whelan, Bowz Cannabis, Rivergate Terrace, Rivergate Health Care Center, Green Acres Cannabis, Jars Cannabis, Savone Cement, Bidigare Contractors, Aerius Health Center, Michigan Fuels, RBSA (Riverview Baseball Softball Association), Bellaire, Michigan House, Al’s Asphalt Paving Company, Mayor Andrew Swift, Assured Partners, Carlisle Wortman, C.E. Raines Company, DTE Vantage, Go Big Multimedia, Pentiuk, Couvreur, Kobijak, Plante Moran PLLC, Reco Equipment, Southgate Rotary, Steven’s Disposal, Tetra Tech, and One-Nine Event Venue. Mayor Swift closed the evening with heartfelt remarks: “Your support ensures that Riverview remains a city where neighbors care for neighbors. Because of you, families will gather with joy tomorrow night for our Tree Lighting Ceremony, and our skies will sparkle with fireworks. Together, we are creating memories and building a community we can all be proud of.” The Mayor’s Gala was more than an event—it was a celebration of Riverview’s spirit, generosity, and shared vision for a thriving community.

Pioneers fall in finals of D8 football playoffs
A
2024 Division 8 State runners-up
HANK MINCKIEWICZ
sensational season came to an end for the Gabriel Richard football team in the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 8 state championship game at Ford Field on November 29th. The Pioneers, who finished the season 11-2, reached the state championship game with four consecutive playoff victories, but in the title game they ran into an inspired Beal City team and lost 43-14. Beal City is one of the real blue bloods of small-school football in Michigan. The Aggies have been in the state championship game 10 times in their history, winning three state titles. The Aggies were 12-2 this season with losses to Reed City and McBain, coming by a total of eight points. Last year, Beal City lost in the state semifinals to eventual D* state champion Ubly. Richard scored first against the Aggies in the championship game and the TD came on a thrilling play as Richard quarterback Nick Sobush hit Derek Lesko with a perfect 53-yard bomb to give the Pioneers a 6-0 lead. Richard’s 1,000-yard running back Joey Calhoun then scored a two-point conversion and it was 8-0 less than a minute into the championship game. The opening drive lasted three plays and covered 72 yards. It was a great start for the Riverview squad, but the Pioneers could not maintain the lead as Beal City scored on three of its four first first-half possessions and led 22-8 at halftime. Beal City got a good kickoff return to start the season half and went on to score again to make it a 29-8 game. Richard got back into it with a 76-yard drive that lasted 16 plays and chewed up nearly eight minutes of the game clock. Sobush paid off the drive with a one-yard sneak. The two-point try failed and it was 29-14.

Gabriel Richard beat Cabrini, Manchester, Loyola and Decatur on its way to the Division 8 state championship game at Ford Field against Beal City.
But that was Richard’s last trip to the end zone of the season and the Aggies added two fourth-quarter scores to get the final to 43-14. Beal City finished with 332 total yards, all but 17 of it on the ground. Gabriel Richard had 251 total yards. Sobush was 9-for-18 through the air for 120 yards. Sobush was also the team’s leading rusher with 58 yards, Calhoun had 46 rushing yards, and Kris Vigers added 31. Defensively, Sobush, Lesko, and Eric Busbee led the Pioneers in tackles. Lesko, Calhoun, and Max Riney all had tackles for a loss. The Pioneers came into the game pretty banged up and first-year coach
Mark Shea gave his team praise for hanging tough while playing shorthanded. “Honestly, we had three or four guys that we didn’t think would be able to play, but they came out and played,” he said. “Taking absolutely nothing away from Beal City. They played a great game, but we were beat up and you could see it.” “We lacked some of the explosiveness that we generally have. And when we don’t have the balance in our attack, it puts us in a bad situation. During the regular season Gabriel Richard went 7-1 and missed out on a berth in the CHSL Prep Bowl by virtue of a 30-22 loss to Macomb Lutheran North. North went on to beat Clarkston Academy in the CHSL championship. North also won a playoff district and fell in the regionals to Harper Woods.

The Riverview football team put another successful season to bed last month with a 2014 loss to River Rouge in the district finals of the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 3 state playoffs. The loss capped a 9-2 season that saw Riverview lose to only Rouge and Huron League champ and Division 7 title game participant Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central. The Bucs struck early against Rouge, scoring first in what would turn out to be a lowscoring affair. Riverview senior running back Nathan Pinkava capped a strong opening drive with a 7-yard touchdown run and a successful 2-point conversion, giving the Pirates an 8-0 advantage. River Rouge quickly responded, with running back Jakoby Cross powering in for a 1-yard touchdown. Jamauri Foster later added a 7-yard run of his own. The Panthers missed both extra points but still carried a 12-8 lead into halftime. The third quarter saw River Rouge extend its advantage. Panther quarterback McKale McDowell connected with Darryl Folks for a 10-yard touchdown pass, pushing the Panthers’ lead to 20-8. McDowell also contributed on the ground, rushing for 48 yards on 12 carries, in addition to his efficient passing (5 of 7 for 58 yards). But the game was not over. Pinkava, who has been a relentless rusher all season, found the end zone again with a 1-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter to narrow the gap to 20-14. The Pirates’ defense did its best to keep the game within reach, but Riverview’s last hope was dashed when a critical 4th-down pass attempt bounced harmlessly on the turf. Pinkava finished with 127 rushing yards on 26 carries and he scored both of Riverview’s touchdowns. Brylon Orcher led the Riverview defense with 15 tackles. Since struggling through a 2-7 season in 2016, Riverview has put together eight straight winning seasons, all of which have ended in the state playoffs. Since 2016 Riverview is 72-15.
Cold start for Riverview skaters
The Riverview-Cabrini combined hockey team got an early start to the season on November 12th, but after a solid outing against archrival Grosse Ile, the Bucs have struggled, going 0-5 through their first five games. Riverview is now off until January 6th, so they have an extended period of time to get back winning shape. The Bucs opened the new campaign with a 7-4 loss to Grosse Ile at Kennedy Ice Arena in Trenton. Riverview scored twice in the first period and trailed 3-2 at the first intermissions. The Bucs scored again in the
second and trailed 7-3 after two. Riverview scored the only goal of the third period. Evan Raithel and Adalar Hovis each had two goals to key the Red Devil win. After the November 12th season-opener, the Bucs lost to Dearborn Divine Child, Jackson, Carlson and Ann Arbor Huron. Riverview-Cabrini returns to the ice January 6th against Port Huron at McMorran Arena in Port Huron, There next home action is January 8th when they again face Grosse Ile.

Chemistry in action with Mrs. Rebeka & her RCHS students
14 RCHS students, along with their chemistry teacher Mrs. Rebeka, took advantage of the opportunity to take a quick trip across the street to Piramal Pharma Solutions to learn about some of the chemistry used in the pharmaceutical industry. Piramal is a global company with a presence in North America, Europe and Asia. The Riverview facility focuses primarily on the manufacturing of high potency, active pharmaceutical ingredients. In other words, creating and manufacturing the active ingredients in the pill, tablet or injectable drug taken by patients all over the world. The specific work, they found out, is highly confidential! However, the students did learn that they work on many "orphan drugs," or drugs used to treat rare diseases
and cancers. The students also learned about the different departments within the facility, the type of work they do, the degrees they hold, etc. They were taken as a group on a tour of the facility to learn a bit about the chemistry behind the work and the checks and balances involved to make sure their products are of the highest quality. With 13 juniors and 1 senior in the group, deciding what's next after high school is on all of their minds. Being able to see science in action during this field trip was as helpful as a college tour! This experience got raving reviews by the students and the Chemistry teacher and we at RCHS cannot wait to continue with this community partnership.
Honoring Veterans Day at Memorial Elementary
After learning about Veterans Day in the classroom, second graders at Memorial Elementary had the opportunity to visit with a veteran on November 11, 2024. Greg Bochenek, a Vietnam Veteran, served in the military from 1968-1969. He was kind enough to bring in his army fatigues as well as the Purple Heart he received. Students asked thoughtful questions and received a Poppy, the symbol of sacrifice which honors those who served and died for our country. This was a wonderful culminating activity that allowed students to ask a service member about things they had learned and read about in the classroom.
Never too early to pick a career
And the winner is ...
Huntington 4th graders have been learning about government and the election process. To make this topic fun, students participated in a mock election. Each student was required to create a candidate that contained an animal name, a character trait, and used alliteration. Eight candidates made it out of primaries and then students were placed into groups where they began the campaign process. Each group created a political platform that consisted of 3 major goals they had to improve Huntington. They also designed campaign flyers on Canva, constructed ballot boxes, and wrote persuasive speeches. After listening to the final speeches, 3rd graders voted, and they elected Hope the Helpful Hamster as the winner of Huntington’s mock election.
The 5th Grade CTE Career Awareness event took place on Monday, November 18th. Forest 5th graders were able to check out several programs that will be available for them in high school. Forest students were also able to participate in hands on activities and ask questions. The following programs had CTE representatives: • Accounting and Business • Digital Media/Video • Auto Technology • Health Science • Construction Trades • Horticulture • Cosmetology • Mechatronics • Culinary Arts

Czata places 6th at state swim meet
RCHS Spanish 3 students spent a beautiful fall day exploring the Bagley Street Neighborhood in Southwest Detroit's Mexicantown. They enjoyed traditional Mexican churros from La Gloria Bakery as they perused the streets completing a scavenger hunt that led them from Honey Bee Market all the way to Mexicantown Restaurant. They practiced a bit of their Spanish while absorbing the culture through some incredible murals, signage, food and drinks. What an incredible way to bring the intention of our studies to life by exploring a part of Detroit so close to us!
Congratulations to Riverview senior, Liv Czata on finishing 6th in the state at last Saturday’s meet which was held at Eastern Michigan University. Liv is the first individual All-State swimmer since 1989. Other state qualifiers this past weekend were: Amelia Czata, Evie Mac, Sophia Reyes, Mia Saineghi and Emma Seitz. They, and the rest of the swim & dive team, represented the Riverview community proudly throughout the season.
Seitz STEM students spark curiosity at Imagination Station On a recent educational adventure, Seitz STEM students had the incredible opportunity to visit Imagination Station in Toledo, Ohio. This hands-on science museum, located on the Maumee River, offers over 300 interactive exhibits that make learning fun and engaging for children of all ages. During their visit, students explored various exhibits that covered a wide range of scientific topics, from physics and chemistry to biology and engineering. They participated in exciting demonstrations and activities that brought classroom concepts to life, sparking curiosity and a deeper understanding of STEM subjects. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our parent chaperones for their invaluable support. Their dedication and assistance made this enriching experience possible for our students. This trip was not only educational but also inspiring, as it allowed our students to see the real-world applications of their studies and encouraged them to pursue their interests in science and technology.

A heartfelt thanks to Parthenon Coney Island and Family Restaurant
The City of Riverview's Seniors Michigan / Michigan State Tailgate Party at City Hall was a tremendous success, thanks to the generosity and community spirit of Mr. Eddie Elsayed and Parthenon Coney Island and Family Restaurant. This event brought together nearly 60 Riverview seniors, all eager to enjoy an afternoon of camaraderie, great food, fun and entertainment. The event was hosted by the Riverview Recreation Department Photo courtesy of Tony Trump under the direction of Todd Dickman with the help of Donna Mitchell and Karen Roberts. The RCHS Band played renditions of each of the universities fight songs and concluded with the Pirates own fight song. What made this gathering extra special was the incredible donation from Parthenon Coney Island, who graciously provided lunch at no cost to our seniors. The menu, featuring delicious coneys, crispy fries, and a fresh salad, was a big hit and brought smiles to every face. Several prizes were drawn to add a little excitement to the fun afternoon. Riverview Mayor Andy Swift said “It was my absolute pleasure to award Eddie Elsayed a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his generous support of this event. Eddie's kindness and dedication to our community have left a lasting impression on all who attended. So, next time you're at Parthenon Coney Island, be sure to stop by and give Eddie a big "Thank You!" for his unwavering commitment to making Riverview a wonderful place for all, especially our cherished senior citizens. Your generosity, Eddie, made a difference—thank you for being a true community hero!
