ABOUT NILÜFER /ni-lo-fer/ noun/ turkish A Lotus Flower.
A restaurant influenced by traditional Turkish-Vietnamese cuisine. The aim of Nilufer is to recreate the richness and traditional flavors of genuine Turkish and Vietnamese cuisine. Inspired by the shared cultural heritage and shared history of both nations.

HISTORICAL BUILDING
CONCEPT The Lotus Flower inspired the design concept for this restaurant, which was inspired by Turkish and Vietnamese culture. That represents purity and optimism for the future. The flowers are arranged in arabesque patterns, which are elaborate and symmetrical arrangements with geometric shapes and floral elements. The design draws parallels between the two cultures. It emphasizes the richness and significance of both ancient cultures. The color red was chosen because of its significance and importance in both cultures. Red is associated with monarchy and strength. The design tells the tale of how the Turkish and Vietnamese cultures came across and exchanged notions, resulting in some similarities in architectural styles and motifs.
