What is the Service?

SSE Recruitment Administration is just one of the services provided by Support Services for Education (SSE), a traded unit within Somerset County Council. As an organisation we offer a wide variety of services and training to all education providers such as Early Years Establishments, Schools, Academies, and Further Education Colleges.

Recruitment Services The staff within any educational establishment are what truly bring learning to life for the pupils. As such it is incredibly important to find those staff members that are going to be an asset to the school and that the recruitment of such staff members is administrated efficiently and effectively without causing additional stress to the existing school administration team.

Purchasing either Headteacher or Teacher Recruitment Administration will assist you with this and will make sure that all parts of the recruitment process are covered as necessary:

Headteacher Recruitment Administration We will assist in your headteacher recruitment by providing a complete administrative service which includes proof reading recruitment packs, assisting with adverts, collating applications and references as well as maintaining communication between the candidates, Chair of Governors, and School. We are also able to connect you to our advertising colleagues who offer discounts on various advertising platforms such as TES, other local authorities, and newspapers.

By taking advantage of our service, school administrators can continue their usual workload whilst we take on the additional pressure of recruitment administration.

The school will be communicated with in order to ensure a smooth process and the school office will receive copies of necessary recruitment documents for their files once the recruitment has been finalised.

We often work alongside our colleagues in the School Improvement Team who offer a Headteacher Recruitment Advisory Service, this includes providing the Governing Body with advice on how best to go about the recruitment and the ways in which they may wish to rethink the structure of the school leadership as this may provide opportunities to maximise resources and outcomes for children and young people.

Teacher Recruitment Administration A professionally administrated service which maintains great value for money.

Due to the ongoing success of our Headteacher Recruitment Administration Service we are also offering Teacher Recruitment Administration as a traded package.
