Christmas is just around the corner, literally - if you look around the corner somewhere you will most likely find a Christmas tree. This also means that as of yesterday the first semester of this academic year has ended, at least for those with no re-exams… This has been a tough semester for all of us, so let this issue of The Insider be a (not so) early Christmas present for you!

If you want to read something that makes you find a deeper understanding of yourself, be sure to check out Morten’s article and take a look at SSE Riga from his point of view. Want to find out more about language? Kiryl has brought an interesting perspective on it which is inspired by a book - a must-read if you will. For a deeper and more cynical view of one’s life check out the first-ever written article by this year’s Editor-in-Chief! Finally, look no further for some practical information about the weekly practices provided at school and read your schoolmate’s thoughts on them!
