2025-2026 DONOR REPORT
Dear Friends, As another remarkable school year comes to a close, we've been reflecting on the growth, discovery, and connection that filled our classrooms. None of those moments happen by chance. They are made possible by a community that believes deeply in our future, in Jewish education, and in Schechter. This year, thanks to your extraordinary generosity, our Annual Campaign raised $1.64 million. Your support gives our students opportunities to ask big questions, discover new interests, deepen their connection to Jewish life, and grow each day surrounded by teachers who truly know them. We are delighted to share this year's Annual Report of Donors as a celebration of what we accomplished together and our gratitude for the many individuals and families whose generosity makes this school possible. Here are just a few moments your support made possible this year: Our youngest learners in the Gan explored forests through hands-on discovery, building a bear cave, going on a "bear hunt," learning about hibernation, and transforming their classroom into a vibrant spring forest. Grade 1 students explored the moon through an interdisciplinary unit that blended science, math, writing, and critical thinking. Their learning culminated in original lunar newspapers filled with articles, illustrations, and scientific discoveries. Grade 5 students strengthened their tefillah skills as they learned to become confident Torah readers and leaders in Jewish prayer. Through hands-on practice and small-group workshops, they built the knowledge and confidence that will support them as they prepare for Jewish adulthood. Grade 7 students became civic leaders during their Constitutional Convention simulation, debating issues, building consensus, and presenting recommendations to our Hanhallah. As we celebrate this year's accomplishments, we are also building Schechter's next chapter. Our capital campaign has now raised $11.8 million toward a new home for our Gan at Stein Circle and a state-of-the-art STEAM Center for students in Grades 3–8 at Wells Avenue, opening in 2027. These investments reflect our commitment to creating learning environments that match the curiosity, creativity, and ambition of our students.
